The VWAP is an absolutely amazing tool for multi time frame analysis! Works fantastic as a single line, with deviating lines it can also be somewhat helpful in reversal type scenarios and ranging markets. Also gives a clear indication of a trend especially with an EMA setup. together i think they really show extremely well the important areas of value that you want to have your eyes on.

This might already be answered in the comments section but WHEN do you draw a fib retracement on the chart? When a new daily high has been hit? Then you use that new high and the low of the session to draw the retracement? I only started using VWAP recently and is trying to figure out how to get some clear signals in combination with MACD and RSI.

Hello, i have subscribed to Tradingview from you link. Thank you, i am finding it better than my previous charting tool. I found and added VWAP to my charts, and i have these 2 Questions:
1) Question about settings setup:
Should i leave the settings as is? here is how they look:
Inputs: Anchor period = Session; Source=hlc3; offset = 0
Style: Precision=default
2) Question about Timeframe:
Which timeframe(s) do you find most efficient on using VWAP?

VWAP (unlike moving averages) is the same on ALL timeframes. Use default settings.
If price comes to test 0.382 and 0.5 area fib levels with vwap at 0.382 can we consider as a valid entry??
What is the software that you are using to see the chart on the screen?

So VWAP only works in intraday trading or as a daytrader because it only takes in account the volume weighted average price in a given day(intraday)? Can VWAP be used lats say the ”last two weeks volume weighted average price” or something like that?

Can someone help please. Im using Trading View and I chose VWAP with Period from the indicator lists. The defaults Period is 14. What period can I use so it looks lie yours.?

when you say, "trade with the market bias". Do you just mean to trade with the SPY / QQQ or whatever sector it is in? For instance, if SPY is on an uptrend, we should only look for long setups on VWAP?
I have been backtesting this on the 8 stocks I pick every day only picking the candlesticks with good price pattern, and even though there's only a few per day, the win rate is very high! Thanks for this!

This was a great video. The question I have is why does my VWAP on Think or Swim have 3 lines while yours only has one? How do I make it so i have only a single Vwap line.
👍 Remove the deviation bands.
On the mobile you can’t remove the outer and inner lines so I made those black so they will blend with my back grown. I have a dark theme. If you have white theme make them white. On the web platform you just remove them.
Nice video. One thing though, you have drawn your Fibs upside down. You need to start the Fib from the low and end on the high for a long setup, which would give you a retrace buying area of .382 to .5, not .618 to .5.
I know, I intentionally use inverse FIBs to set targets (so I don't have to add FIB extensions later)
How do you know where to place the Fibonacci scale? Like how is the choice made? I’ve always wondered that and still don’t understand it.

M5 mainly. I don't use it for swing trades.
