    All you had to do was take the 2 rear side panels out...fold the back seat and lift the carpet to get to the shock bolts. Mines already had a cut out from the factory where the shock bolts go so all I had to do was fold the seat and lift that section of the carpet to get to the bolts. If yours is a 2001 it should have that cut out.

    • @TWAMotorsports
      @TWAMotorsports  5 лет назад

      I agree you can do it that way but you have to tear the carpet and its difficult to pull carpet from behind the panels. The method I used keeps you from breaking or messing things up.

    After all was said and done ... were there any squeaks coming from the suspension? Mainly wondering about the reuse of rear spring isolators ... and upper control arms since those sounded creaky in one of the vids. I’m about to overhaul our ‘02 Z28 suspension with OEM height parts. We’ve had it since new and currently has 155K. It’s been squeaking for sometime now from all four corners up high. Only parts I’ve not purchased are new upper control arms and debating if I should at least replace the bushings? Depending on condition once removed I may just pick up the new UMI mount and upper arms. As others have said ... your videos are invaluable and are the best out there! Thanks for providing so many details!

    • @TWAMotorsports
      @TWAMotorsports  5 лет назад

      It was probably other things that were squeaking. I generally reuse spring isolators in the rear as they never wear out. In the front at that mileage it would be worth replacing the rubber bushings in the a arm. Especially if they are cracked which you will be able to see.

      Wow you are right. Yes I have heard of some just lowering rear. Never used Koni so cant speak to that. I didn't measure but probably around 1 inch. Bmr and eibach I listed both ride great. Yes you need an alignment

    4 gen comes stock at perfect ride height. Why mess it up. Ground effects would have been 100% better.

    Sorry bro but, you kinda wasted your time taking the interior parts out with at least my car the 94 you can get away with just letting the back seat fall down and the plastic back pieces out and then just pulling the carpet forward and away from the sides I goes back under once you pull towards the back.
