- Intravitreal injections of anti-VEGF are FDA-approved for a number of ocular conditions and have been shown to decrease macular edema and improve vision. The most common are aflibercept (Eylea), ranibizumab (Lucentis) and bevacizumab (Avastin). It can treat wet AMD, macular edema from vein occlusion, diabetic macular edema and diabetic retinopathy.

Can depend on your body for me it takes up to a week. Some have immediate results. It's up to your body.

Hello mam I am 23 year old male I was diagnosed with CRVO on 1 January and avistin injection was given to me on 8th January in my ( Right EYE )
Although I have 6/6 vision
tests were done and they found
VITAMIN D deficiency just ( 16.25)
I have high pain In my knees also and are making sound whenever I stand up.
The shade in my right eye is still there
Does this happen because of vitamin d deficiency?
Does it happen to other eye after some time I am very fearful now ?

The injections I wish had a better way to not hurt so much. With a complicated immune system the week after the injection seems to be rough. Feels like a war in my body. And as the injection wears off it tends to bother moods. So it's def best to speak to your Dr. It does have its pro an cons. But every ones body is different. Hugs to all
