That’s like my #1 gripe with the manga. Past the middle of the manga, you almost always have like 2-5 people fighting or talking at once who all look the same, with the only differences being small things like haircuts. Maybe I just got ADD or somethin, but it quickly became hellish to keep track of who was doing or saying what most of the time. This is doubly so when the entire second half of the manga is boring shonen fights broken up by chapters of characters just standing around and throwing walls of dialogue at you.
Claymore REALLY needs a redo of the anime that adapts the whole manga. The 2000s were really not kind to anime when it came to either doing something else because the manga wasn’t far enough or, in Claymore’s case, stopped altogether.
I would throw money at this in a heartbeat. Loved the anime but never got the chance to read it. Might start looking for it if I can but I have a feeling it's gonna be a pain in the ass to get. Especially if I want it at a reasonable price.

I think the real thing that's been surprising me about this series (I started reading the manga and have also started rewatching the anime while I read through)...the animation honestly holds up pretty well all these years later. People must really be hungry for anything sort of like Berserk, seeing how Claymore has suddenly showed up several times in my subs the last month. Not that I'm complaining, seeing how Claymore is a really good series with a special place in my heart. The art is great, the monsters creative, the twists interesting, and the characters, while not incredibly complex, are likeable and entertaining.
