Floor is ages better than Tarja. People always forget that Tarja has a life delivered to classical singing, thay why she's so good AT IT. On the other hand, Floor can use differents techniques and she's very good in each of them. Tarja can't do half of this, even being so good in classical singing!

Poe - Floor is at the beginning a classical singer and was train with classical songs so you are the one who doesn't know the subject... just watch her classical performances and then we can talk

Agree. But if she wans to continue with growling she should practice more- I'm sure she can do it better :D By the way, you should check Masha from Arkona - one of the greates growlers in the stage. She too changes her voice from growling to clean (folkloral) singing- and belive me slavic folklore singing isn't the easiest thing (Strela, Arkaim, Goi, Rode, Goi - forexample) :)

Floor also really needs to work on the growls. To be honest the best person to go from clean vocals to growls is Christian Älvestam though he is male and it's easyer for guys to do that. But there are a number of women that can go between the two really well.
leave out the tarja knocking she is the original singer of nightwish and floor is just doing a job for them. floor has always been great but don't compare the two. sounds like people who have only discovered nightwish who would knock tarja.
