Great work brother! Love the transparency approach when interacting with people. It’s amazing how much stuff like that can lead to really good and profitable leads! Keep hustling!
3:55 I'm looking up stuff all the time in front of sellers. Especially if I paying up for it. They don't know exactly what I'm doing, I could be texting someone. But it seems like some resellers frown upon looking things up the wild. It seems like it is expected to have the exact value and sell through rate memorized. That's not possible because on certain items the sell through rate changes depending on the season. Anyway, looking forward to more yard sailing. :)
Here in California it's a crime wave at garage sales. Like the flash mobs. Thrift stores littered with empty boxes once held electronics. I'm constantly showing the people hosting the sale empty boxes asking them if there was something in the box informing them it was flinched. Sad to hear the crime wave has reached Utah. One Goodwill seems to have just stopped selling any electronics that fit into a pocket after I carried an armload of empty boxes to show them at the counter. So they just gave up. Probably selling it all by the pallet now so they at least get something. Too bad all those people donating things and it ends up in some shop lifters haul. eBay should make option to keep their app stay in "Sold' search mode.
12:50. Ouch! You'd be real even IF you sold them all. And even then, you'd have to wait months. Ask prices before investing valuable yard sale time scanning bar codes. Then you can apply appropriate discretion.
When I first got back into re-selling, I'd hear the term "Garage Sale Season" from the RUclips clan and I couldn't quite figure out what they meant. Duh, anyway, I live in southern NM and there's yard sales year round pretty much. I never knew Utah had hot weather too. (I don't yard sale during the summer. I can't handle the heat) It was a nice change watching you at a yard sale. Thanks for sharing.
I personally would have stayed right at $100 for it all and let him either take it or leave it. But that's just me . Regardless you had some great buys at those other sales. Cheers ✨
I look up while I’m there, been asked a few times what I was doing, it has always been positive. Yard season now, I live in the middle of the annual hwy 46 yard sale here in Heflin Alabama last weekend of September, 25 miles of sales can’t wait.
Ill look it up right in front of them. Especially if they are asking prices above my target range. I helps with avoiding buying things you will regret later.
The garage sale where the women were talking about dogs on the table with the lamps. There is a serger machine right next to where you put your items down. I didn't know if you looked at the price and walked away from it. Some of them can sell for good money. It's worth a look up.
I enjoy your channel but here where I live in Sacramento quite a few of the sellers treat you differently if they know you are a reseller. Also you can’t go to a Goodwill without seeing half a dozen people with their phones out. Good Luck!
I’ve had a pretty intense situation when scanning items in a book sale. A scarce but rare form of human known as a “Karen” has gone ape shit on me screaming for at least ten minutes without the book sale people saying ANYTHING to her. I had to threaten to call the police to her to finally get her to stop harassing me, I felt super old but I didn’t know how to make her stop yelling at me without giving up and leaving the sale altogether. Apparently “Book sales are not for people who are going to resell the books!” Is what I learned from the situation according to the Karen.
(UK here) Many years ago I wanted to sell vintage/antique items and signed up for my first antiques fair. The organiser was giving me advice in setting up and one piece was to put my best items out first for the early birders.........the dealers ! When I queried why this was important she said that dealers would be the life blood of my business. People like that lady and thrift store management have either not realised this or have forgotten. Hence why things languish and don't sell.
Geeze stop complaining the seller at a yard sales are free to sell them at any price they want thee not there to help you make a profit! Period end of story just move on to the next sale if you don't like it!
@@bennystratton7734 Yeah, they can ask for whatever price they want. That doesn't mean their idea of a "reasonable price" is actually anywhere near reasonable. They're free to think their games are worth that much, and the rest of us are free to think they're off their rockers.
@@goldengriffon Like i said stop complaining and move on! they wont sell it to you but they might sell it to someone that is actually going to play them NOT RESELL THEM again People having a yard sale or selling a flea market are NOT THERE TO HELP anyone reselling online make a profit PERIOD so grow up and stop complaining!! find your inventory elsewhere!
Hi, I follow you to learn about ebay. Thank you for all advices. I sell completely different items, decorative items, but, when I found interesting valuable stuff I sell them, also. I found wonderfull good brand rolling skates, I sold them pritty fast, but even I offeredn all details about size, the buyer told me doesn't fit. I don't have return selected in my account. What should I do in this case. If I refund the money and I receive other rolling skates ebay will protected me or not? Thank you so much. Patricia
Well if you only had 1 negative experience looking things up , recording consider yourself lucky you only been doimg this a few years compared to myself have been yard sales flea markets rummage sales ect.. for inventory id never advertise im a resller for the last 30 years of reselling online its a big no no more then not they are likely not to give you as much as a break compared to if your just an average non resller 100% fact
Bundling games in the same franchise (and same platform) can be very lucrative.. A lot of times if you can get them in sequence.. Like Guitar Hero 1 2 3 on PS2 you can fetch more for them together than individually, and save a little on shipping (for the buyer in your circumstance). "Black Label" games for PS1 & Gamecube can make a significant difference compared to the Players Choice or Greatest Hits versions. 150 is way too much for what you're looking at there. Games may not work.. Your margins are gonna be super slim. I enjoyed the video though
Yes was way to much I would have never paid more then $2 he said he had 350 I would have offered him $600 for all take it or leave it that's how you buy in bulk!
GOD BLESS YOU. AND YOU CAN LEARN ABOUT JEWELRY TO, BECAUSE JEWELRY SMALL BUT BIG MONEY ALSO. LEARN HOW TO SPOT GOLD AND STERLING SILVER. JUST SUGGESTION
With regard to the whole looking up things in front of the seller, I think attitude matters a lot. With that being said, if you're being a noob looking at games I'm going to just outbid you or embarrass you in front of them. Too many loser wannabe game sellers with pricecharting going through each game instead of doing any homework or research. Same goes for any category.
exactly- if I feel like i could possibly be getting ripped off dam right im gonna look it up! If they want ebay prices -they need to list them on ebay. Its that simple.😊

It’s a question I get asked all the time. Nothing wrong with looking stuff up! People don’t mind or even know what you’re doing like you said segun

That guys prices were pretty high man, I honestly don't think you're going to make a whole lot on that deal

What is your ebay store?
Congrats on 10k! Keep it up. All the best from Germany!

Forgot to say CONGRATULATIONS ! When I grow up (I'm almost 60 ) I want to be just like you...........🤭

I don't understand selling video game seems like most are selling around 7 dollars.. with a good one very rarely.. any thoughts
This isn't a yard sale per se. This is a reseller who sets up every weekend.
