Thank you for all the information. I started selling recently. I have 60 items listed. My draft bank saved me when both my kiddos got the flu two weeks ago. They are better now. Keep on rambling, you never know how big a difference you make in someone's day, life, or business. Blessings to you and your family.
I love you ! The end of this video was so sweet and so true.. your advice on selling is great, I see a very decent person sharing some great advice.( I have sons who are your age) Bless you!
Thanks Jake. Love the info but more importantly you inspire and motivate me to keep pushing. I have 840 items in my store and man it started slow. Now I’m selling on average 5 a day. I will have around 1K items sold on my 1 year date. I’m still super pumped about this stuff. Thank you!!
Around the topic of missing items when you're looking up stuff: I like getting a decent amount in my cart before I go looking through prices. Avoids stopping too much and potentially missing items others are grabbing while you're price checking on your phone.
Great tips! I don’t look the item up real time at the thrift. I grab them and spend a few minutes before checkout checking the en for flaws and looking them up. Keeps you living and a little time at the end is worth it! Have a great day! 😊
Do you send out offers daily? I can’t decide if I’m just blowing more profit being impatient on a sale or if offers are the only reason why people hit the watch button.
Definitely great tips on the ebay game. Ebay was too much of a gamble for me personally because I couldn't get enough in demand items regularly. I could find items that would sell quick sometimes but between all the hunting, listing and storing stuff, I couldn't seem to move enough items to justify the time, effort and money spent for a stable return on investment. I also had an issue with frequent returns which made my experience a dull one as a seller. More power to those that can get the right inventory. Cheers. 🍻
Thank you for the helpful tips. Sometimes you mention you accept a best offer. Do you set the lowest amount you would accept or do you allow counteroffers?
I’m and researching and love all the info. I am gleaning from your videos🤗 I just recently lost my job, about a year before I was planning on retiring…I’m looking to supplement my income and need to purge my home and downsize, and thought this might be a great way to do that…my question is how does it work if you want to take a weekend off or go on vacation? I understand having a draft bank can be helpful…any suggestions on that situation? Thank you for all that you are doing for this platform and especially for the newbies🤗
Question - I know you said you were going to do some experiments in your eBay store. I am wondering if any of the videos for the results will be coming out soon. I believe you were going to test like inconsistent listing vs consistent and the end/sell similar strategy vs just being consistent. I am interested to see what the results are
Do you sell more electronics or clothing or do you do jewelry, new to the channel and was wondering what sells best for You?I know you like to find and sell remote controls,I did watch a few of your previous videos, Thanks!!!
I sell mostly clothing and its often hard to get a good sell through rate because, unless it's a specific item, its hard to find the exact shirt, etc that has sold before. What's your recommendation for that?
Jake, I seen one of your other video’s about picking up remotes, I found a Sony remote how do I test it without the TV/ DVD to see if it works, so I can list it as tested. any help would be greatly appreciated!
You can use your Phone. Turn on the camera hold the remote to the Cam and push a Button on the remote. If it works you should see the the light of the remote flashing.
I disagree with Tip #3 Digging for boxes isn’t scalable. You are wasting time. Time is the bottleneck not money. Look at that mess compared to the alternative of perfectly organized by size boxes that sit on a shelf. Hundreds of them flat and stacked. You think your employees want to be digging through your random box pile trying to find a box that works? No, they don’t. Please second guess yourself on this because if what you’re doing isn’t scalable and can be systematized and hired out then you are doing it wrong. You aren’t going to send your employees out to dumpster dive for boxes. Let’s get serious brother. I’ve done it both ways. Ps. On an unrelated note: You don’t need to use the 12x12x12” shipping method for large items. eBay has a setting where the discounted eBay rate is shown and given to the customer when they make the purchase. I tried to send you the link to the page to turn on that setting but I think RUclips thinks it’s spam. 🤷♂️
@@cassfonnesbeck8057 the IRS didn't try imposing taxes on eBay sellers with sales under $20,000 per year until fiscal 2021. It failed because, well eBay didn't get word out to sellers. So the IRS tried imposing tax the next year and it failed again. They're surely going to enforce it this coming April. Biden has ordered the IRS to hire on more personnel. Are you keeping all the receipts for your eBay inventory purchases? Gas mileage?

That’s what I do as well

Great tips and information. Thank you.
I really appreciate your videos. I’m just now about to get started reselling on eBay. Do you ever hold any seminars in person? I’m also in Utah.
Do you send out offers daily? I can’t decide if I’m just blowing more profit being impatient on a sale or if offers are the only reason why people hit the watch button.
I have really enjoyed your videos and it has helped me look at ways to improve on my ebay journey --thank you
Thank you for the pep talk, Coach! God bless you ❤
More excellent advice🎉🎉🎉

Thank you for the great information but also your encouragement. God bless you
You're very encouraging 👍🏻
That was awesome video would you be able to do a video on sell through rate in detail? Thank you
Great points!
12:28 thank you 😭
Great video 🤘🤘
All solid info for sure👍

Hey Jake, new reseller here. I got the impression that you don’t use the scheduler in eBay. Can you explain why?
I do one more check on my items before launching them. Sometimes I catch errors
Why have a draft bank and not just schedule your listings?

Great video. Out of curiosity, when you are given an item, do you share a % of the proceeds with that person?
Jake I'm a new sub. I can't find your Ebay store. Thank you.
I'm awesome, and by golly people love me! Thanks, Jake!
😂❤

What happened to Osborne?
I wonder that myself.
Oh and by the way, the IRS and state tax board are going to require you pay taxes on everything you sell starting end of last year.
You should be paying taxes on your sales already.

Prices are coming down because people have less money to spend
I’m all for lot funnier times.
I really enjoy your content, but what's the deal with the podcasts.
Sorry just been ultra busy with the holidays and my brother in law leaving on a 2 year mission. Starting back up next week
