I'm getting a raspberry note in the opening and it last throughout the drydown- maybe the Cypriol?
Quite superb and I will be buying a bottle.
Great review of both fragrances: I enjoy your description of Luxor , yes this fragrances is not for everyone. That’s why I enjoy it also. Honestly is the key, that’s why I enjoy your reviews.

I own Luxor. Lovely perfume. Accurate description. The only difference between what you describe and I smell is a note you don’t mention: tobacco. I can smell tobacco in good measure.

You are so right about Luxor. You will either love or hate it. At first spray it's so animalic to me. But once it develops after an hour omg! You really do have to be a true connoisseur of fragrance to appreciate this one.
Got starlight & recently smelled Luxor which I will order soon. Also got Decas recently which is a bit of a banger.

I have to be honest with you...I appreciate your style , your truthful down to earth and you have a positive vibe to you. I have followed you for several years and you have costed me some coin. You did a Xerjoff Manifiesto...I could not believe your reaction after you sprayed it on you...you could have said nothing at all reviewing ..I stillbhad it 4 days later...lol . Your right some of these reviewers are besides themselves ...I can't stand them. They don't connect with the subs and call them stupid..or move on if you don't like what I say. Missed you A LOT, dude. ...Just in case you 'needed' to know - you are a GREAT reviewer, Rene. Your descriptions and verbal delivery are absolutely excellent and have a unique personality. You are genuinely in the top handful of authentic reviewers, in my view. For one thing, I think most of us watching you realize your 'nose,' your sense perceptions, are outstanding and trust-able. I know it's difficult to always meet the challenge of being 'expected' to come up with quality videos ALL the damn time - don't worry about those pressures, just do what is natural to you at the given moment. As for accents and so on - my father taught English to University level for forty plus years in British Commonwealth countries - dialect differences and individual accents are perfectly acceptable, English is in any case 'a global living language' which absorbs new things from wide sources all the time. The subtle nuances and the depth of meaning is much more important in any creative expression - and you've got those qualities 100%. Watching your reviews is a joy.

I have sold my starlight. Smellwise a great perfume but it doesn't project. No sillage. I ordered golden green. Hopefully that one will project.

JFC, some people never leave middle school I guess. It’s their own insecurities because they probably can’t understand you (it’s not difficult in the slightest to understand you, btw), because they’ve probably never left their parents’ home town.
Anyway, you’re the best reviewer, you know it, own it! I always see if you’ve reviewed something before I buy.
I have a bunch of xerjoffs but none of them are the hyped or fan favorites. Gao, zafar, malesia, luxor, golden dallah. All really challenging but that's the only way I go now these days. Nothing else really satisfies me from the mainstream brands these days, I want to sell off all my Bleu de chanel, pdm herod, and stuff like that. I don't like those anymore. I only like resiny challenge scents.
