Thanks Mike, this was definitely inspiring to me. As I skill up, yes, until 2:30 in the morning after work and other responsibilities and some downtime. And even though I’m in grad school, I’ve realized the need to supplement my learning so I rely on RUclips, books, articles and tutorials. Learning is a process, everyday.
Thank you, Mike.. you are awesome when I started my career I was listening to you and now I am pro then also I am listening to you..I found always inspiration and process(methods) from you. Thanks once again.
Great video Mike! Your channel helped me a lot with landing that first UX job! One thing I would add though is to be willing to accept that often you won't do so much stuff as you thought so quickly. This grind message is likely to get really stressful over time if you have this narrative "I have to" constantly. So I think it's important to grind consistently but allowing yourself to sometimes do a little less for your own health and the relationships around you.
Mike, love your points. And they build upon each other. If you master and practice the skills, it gives you belief that you can do the work. When you are grinding everyday mastering the skills and solving a problem everyday (solving the typology problem, color scheme problem, user-journey problem, UI element placement, etc.), you are doing (and mastering) hard-work. Love this.
Thanks Mike, i discovered that your chanel actually is the best for the UX UI designers, but i don't understand exactly what do you mean by solving problems in UI UX design we need to explain this issu in practice way, for exemple show us a simple prob & than solve it , that will be respectful for you! Cordialy.
Mike! I’ve been following you for a while. I always rewatch your video of how to prepare for a ux interview whenever I’ve had an interview. You’ve really been SO helpful! I’d love to know your process for designing and problem solving. Thankyou in advance and loads of love from an Indian in Tokyo :)
I remember people used to leave in your comments “look mikes stoned his eyes are so red” and you would make a response saying “actually I havent slept in 72 hours bud”😂 STRAIGHT GRIND
Great tips Mike, I have a question if I want to design a SaaS project for the desktop What are the dimensions? And how i can practice on problem solving and Critical thinking? When building a personal project need to practice the problems you identify within the process? thanks a lot
Man… I am working as digital marketer. 10 years experience in marketing and graphic design and I am struggling to understand if I should have my cv just with UX/UI Design or if I can keep the tittle I am currently using to apply for jobs in UX/UI Design “UX/UI Designer & Digital Marketing professional”. Please share your comments.
