    I agree with Ryan Clark. Towards the end of the game, the score is tied at 10-10 with more than 4 minutes left. He was not dealing with an insurmountable lead by the opposing team so the stage is set for Rodgers to come up with a scoring drive in his home field. Show us why you're the MVP. Tied game is ground zero, forget whatever happened earlier in the game. This is your moment. He came up short.

    As a Bears fan I would love nothing more than to put that loss all on Rogers & he does deserve a lot of the blame. However, the coach also deserves a ton of heat for his lack of adjustments. For the last few weeks we kept hearing from several pundits, namely Darlington, about how this coach is the only coach in NFL history to start their career winning 13 games each year and wanting to make it like they were getting him measured for a gold jacket. When it came down to the end of the game Shanahan gave the ball to his best player on offense to set up the winning FG. However before that the GB coach calls three passes & none of them to Jones who the 49'rs couldn't stop all game but instead they decide to throw a deep pass down the middle to Adams who was double covered. If McCarthy is going to get heat so should GB's coach.

They saw what happens when you put him up against an elite QB when he missed the throw that could have put away the Chiefs in '20. Mahomes then came back to win it. I think people were too high on the Packers coming into this game. They struggled in some close/lucky wins this season, to name three ; They barely beat the Ravens without Lamar Jackson. They barely beat the Browns against a banged up Baker who threw FOUR interceptions. And lastly, they were lucky to survive against the Bengals with that missed field goal fiasco at the end. If those three games went the other way, they'd be 10-7, maybe 11-6 if they used starters the whole game against the Lions, and would be talked about in a way different light. And they were also down at half time against the Lions both games they played. I know it's a divisional game and they're different, but if you're a coach and Quarterback for what is suppose to be the most elite team in football, you should hardly struggle, if at all, against what is one of the worst teams in the league, let alone both games they played in one year.

    • @MrNightmarekill
      @MrNightmarekill 2 года назад

      @@daddynanners3944 I wasn't trying to trash the defense at all? If anything, it goes to show that the offense can't perform when it needs to as well. The offense should be able to out score a Ravens team that doesn't have its star QB. But against the 49ers', the special teams was the main reason they lost, but also the offense is a contributing factor, I don't put this loss on the defense at all. I just don't think they deserved their 13-4 record, and it goes to show with this early exit.

    haha Rex. AR12's legacy in Green Bay is not all that much less than Favre's, except that Favre's Packers with Mike Holmgren, Andy Reid & Krew garnered a second SB berth, but lost. Yeah, AR12's arrogance and ego are self-conflated, and a lot of that, with regards to football, is because The Media has made AR12 their "darling" for the greater portion of his NFL career, harping on how great he -- which is he -- etc. AR12 has never had the luxury of a consistently tough-as-nails HC like Andy Reid: five (5) NFC Conference Finals and a Super Bowl appearance with the Eagles/Donovan McNabb; and now, four (4) straight AFC Conference Finals with M'homey & Krew (TY-reek, T-Kel[ce] et al.). Know your STUFF, bud! You DON'T. @Ryan Clark, it would've been 13 points, but Crosby has been awful all year and missed another FG (altho this one might not have been HIS fault). Also, Rex Ryan, the packers DID try to improve the roster this year w/ mid-season acquisitions Whitney Mercilus (Pro Bowler), Dallas middle LB Jaylen Smith (Pro Bowler), & Rasul Douglas. They had a LIMITED cap space (they're now $20 million over the cap for next year). I agree they shouldn't have drafted Love, but player acquisition THIS year? They TRIED.
