Just realized some how we didn't put in a Cinematography Credit! Anyways Lucas Van Oss, Kris Roller and myself all shot this film together on the ground in Iceland with a handful of different cameras (Canon C300, Sony A7S2, GH4 and DJI Phantom 4)
wow this is absolutely amazing, perfect cinematography. filmed very professionally and has a great meaning behind it all. couldnt take my eyes off of my screen the whole time, felt like i was there with you guys. perfect! deserves more views for sure!!!
Holy crap, I can't believe youtube is free This is such quality content, really beautiful stuff the song choice was perfect, got me some new music now yew! smiling basically the whole time :)
Great video! awesome job Nick loved the vid, surprised it hasn't got at least 100k views. Also what camera did you use to film all of this it looks amazing.
That was amazing.. and I don't surf. Gonna have to go back and start dissecting it. It was pretty cool to see all these places I've seen in landscape photographs... but with these surfers in the frame. Completely killer job! Oh.. I did want to ask.. how much footage did you have to edit through?
@@NicksFort Thanks, man. No worries about missing it. I was just curious. I come back from somewhere with a couple hours worth and it feels almost overwhelming.. and I'm only editing relatively short videos. Not like this. Luckily, I learned a bunch of Premiere shortcuts from this guy on RUclips. ;-)
@@ChrisLonsberryMedia yeah editing this was a team effort and it was a lot of work. I just shot a short doc yesterday. I was with the subject for about 12 hours and I have 6.5 hours of footage that will turn into 3-10 min long short doc...lol
dont quite understand why you travel all that way to surf really ordinary freezing waves spend all that money, better to travel somewhere warm with good waves 10 times cheaper like indo or mexico?..pointless
@@roycediamond6461 lol doubt it, like dji zzah pointed out, most people don't like surfing in the cold, that is why they don't go, not because they didn't know about it.
@@NicksFort - really???? Well you don't surf anyway and I'm not taking the other guy's view as bible - will speak from extensive experience instead ......I live and surf in water that sits at around 6-8 degrees on average...breaks in these waters that we've surfed uncrowded over the past 5 decades have in recent years become over saturated directly due to knob heads posting clips....the quality of wetsuit and transport have made the issue of water temp a moot point. Want to fcuk it up for locals? Got no respect and don't give a toss? Just be another knobhead and post it on Yiewtube. no lol.

I was wondeeing is surfing viable to like get to a island by water like skateboarding version of a boat like a cheap version basically of a boat kol
What kind of wetsuits are these? Are they dry wetsuits, are the gloves attached to the suit?
The guys all head there own suits, but I think mostly they had 5/4s and maybe 6/5/4s. Gloves were not attached.
Awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed it
