- Invincible, Omni Man, Invincible Time Travel, Evil Mark Invincible, Invincible Multiverse, Invincible Anissa, Invincible Reboot Explained, Invincible Reboot Part 1, Mark Grayson,
After Allen and Battle Beast start a massive prison break to free Omni Man from his Execution, Allen tells Nolan that they need to get to Mark right away because he needs to get him to the Coalition of Planets, and he’s sure that what they just did alerted every Viltrumite in the Galaxy, so they need to escape now before the full might of the empire is on their head. Omni Man tells Allen they have nothing to worry about, and that no one is going to come for them, but this throws Allen off, asking what Omni Man knows that he doesn’t. This is where Nolan reveals one of the biggest secrets in the series that the Viltrumites have been keeping from the rest of the universe, as he tells Allen that the only two Viltrumites in their sector of the Universe are the ones that they had to send by Viltrumite Law to commit his execution, but in truth there are only 50 viltrumites left in the entire universe, and that number gets smaller anytime they have battles like these, but BECAUSE there’s so few and BECAUSE they’re so spread out, Omni Man tells Allen that THIS is the reason that they’ll be able to defeat the Empire if they work together, so he tells Allen to take HIM to the Coalition of Planets instead of Mark, and he’ll not only tell them everything he knows about Viltrum, but when it comes time to go to war against the Viltrumites, he’ll not only stand with them, he’ll lead the charge and show them exactly whose head it is that they need to remove, and Allen the Alien and Omni Man begin a brand new friendship and we see the very beginning, of Invincible’s Avengers starting to form.

Season 2 of Invincible promises an intriguing plot, with hints from the original comics by Robert Kirkman. Expect the Sequids' scheme to conquer Earth, Titan's crime organization expansion, and Allen's cosmic adventures. Meanwhile, Mark faces challenges with Cecil's methods and the return of Omni-Man to space, potentially reuniting with the Viltrumites. The introduction of Angstrom Levy, a multidimensional villain, seems central to the plot, as indicated by the Season 2 trailer's revelations. This season will delve into multiverse dynamics, introducing Evil Mark and a team of new, yet imperfect, superheroes. With Angstrom Levy as the arch-nemesis, expect an epic clash of powers and dimensions.

Nolan is really a seasoned vet in the field he’s killed off a lot of strong characters including a few of his own
well, he's the rightful emperor so it makes sense.
This is just the beginning of craziness! In my story, Lois Lane becomes a Kryptonian and takes down Batman
He is the one born with the wisdom of a king. Note what he said he will show them whose head needs to be taken to win. Lions do that to hyena go right for the main female and break her spine.

50 viltrimites had the entire Galaxy pressed, damn
They had millions but the virus took out so many that they had to keep it secret. However they do soon get a giant boost in numbers
Maybe 50,000 before the scourge.
These bastards were Superman Surface-Level. Meaning 1 of them could ruin a fucking planet. And each one had HUNDREDS of years of experience in their profession. 50 was a damn nightmare lol
LMFAOOO word
Well just imagine if for just 20 years the viltromit population had a baby making recession process to grow their population then mandatory produce about 5 baby's a year until the population resurgence happens it might take a 100 years but the beginning small increase in population would be dramatically higher and tremendously beneficial to their situation in the galaxy .😮😮😮🎉 .❤ .
Impressive how they kept that secret so close to their chest when the same viltrumites were always sent to missions and never new ones.
2 explanations for this. Why would they ever send new ones if the old ones are going to be stronger and more knowledgeable? Also, I don't think viltrumites go on many peaceful missions, anyone who would see them would most likely die
Theres also just logistics, if they send someone to do something its probably because they are relatively near by, if someone has to go to a place in the same area of the universe its likely to be one of a few near by viltrumites. @greenmeatybones6983
I doubt anyone who found out in the past lived lmao due to how violent the empire is
they probably follow the 40K Eversor Assassin logic of stealth. it's stealth if no one is alive to witness the carnage
@@greenmeatybones6983 But if the Viltrumites keep talking about Empire this and Empire that, wouldn't people get suspicious that no one has ever seen this empire, or even so much as platoon?
so basically viltrumites are critically endangered.
and pure viltrumites could essentially be functionally extinct
Their DNA changes so they create other full bloods.
Which is exactly why Earth is so important
Well non full viltrumate becomes full over time (how mark becomes viltrumate) so if they removed their limits on sex they could replenish their numbers in century or two or even couple of year if they create kids with very fast maturing kids
@chimera9818 didn't Oliver have a shorter lifespan? I don't think it works exactly like that
@@zonedout6432 he had a shorter time to reach maturity. From what I understand he would have had a much longer life the older he got if he wasn’t killed XD
Reasonable Viltrumite: Hey guys, there's only 50 of us left so, lets just try to be peaceful and rebuild the population.
Thragg: No. Now you die.
Not fesable if they wanted to retain control of the space they had. Viltrum has soo many enemies that if they ever "chilled out", and this became public knowledge soomone was going to attack them just to get revenge, or to eliminate the threat that they could pose should they change.
@xertris if they just chilled out they would have an easier time, what is the point of spending Immortality swatting flies to lord over ants? Just live your life and do something actually worth doing.
@xertris those 50 people can each conquer a planet alone though?
Short of chemical/gas/germ warfare or nuking the planet they are on (which some of them can and had survived) I don't know what you would reasonably have other people do.
If they were willing to decrease the span of the Empire to something more manageable they would be impossible to defeat.
@SpectralKnight That's what exactly what I'm saying man, they are stretched too thin for no real gain.
@@ahmedshaharyarejaz9886 They are stretched to thin, but there are security riskes to putting all your eggs in one basket.
Gee, it's almost as if the entire Viltrumite Imperial Philosophy was a complete dead end.
When they have a small population like this, yes. But it wasn’t necessarily their lifestyle that reduced them to this state.
@@squirrelking4174w.r.t their population being 50 people, yeah that was a consequence of external resistance that could've happened regardless of ideology (although I'd say that it becomes less and less likely the less and less of a prick your civilisation is), but I think the Viltrum imperial philosophy was doomed to failure.
Any policy based on a strong negative emotion reinforces negativity. It ends with the over-application of the negative core of the ideology. In this case, if the Viltrumites hadn't been killed off by the virus, they likely would have dwindled their numbers to a few hundred thousand through internal squabbles anyway, and then had a civil war.
Why? Well, their ideology is based on racial supremacy. They purged the weak from their society. But why would they stop? And what's the definition of weak? Does killing somebody by ambush count as strong, or is it an admission of weakness? These are questions where reasonable people can disagree. But there is no room for disagreement in such an extreme philosophy, and so they would find an attempt to clarify the ambiguous points of Viltrum philosophy as an attempt to subvert it, and thus an uncommitted traitor to Viltrum beliefs to be dealt with prejudicially. This either causes a civil war or an increasingly harsh purge of anything that seems even remotely weak (think like how Nazi Germany murdered disabled people, and imagine that this grew to include anybody who had a cough for more than a week. It wouldn't weed out disease, it would just kill a bunch of people).
Of course, like we saw, the ideology would react to internal and external pressures and grow and adapt to the universe it found itself in. But without the sharp shock Thaddeus dealt the Viltrumite empire, it's likely they would have been unable to keep ahold of their empire for even a few decades. It would become a civil war. They might pull out of their supremacist views in a non-virus timeline, idk. But I doubt it.
@@MarkusAldawn you could say that their society was doomed from the start and that they would fall into in fighting as time went on, but none of the survivors from the great purge nor the scourge virus had killed one another. Im not sure on the time frames for either events, but once mark got involved, THATS when one killed another again. Apparently the viltrumites respect auto top of power. I mean, look what happened with Nolan. They survivor’s pretty much sided with him instantly once they knew the truth.
Yes, Empires die.
How will the American Empire die ? Bankruptcy, military loss, internal struggle ? We are leaning that way.

Yup, the Scourge Virus took them out. It’s basically a super powered virus created by the Coalition of Planets to kill Viltrumites, and it basically has the same effect as kryptonite on Superman - short-term exposure removes their superpowers, long term exposure kills them.
The Viltrumites went to great efforts to hide the efficacy of the Scourge Virus from the rest of the universe so that nobody knew just how terribly it had devastated their people. Also, Viltrumites with royal blood are naturally resistant to the Scourge Virus, and are pretty much the only ones who can contract it, survive and fully recover from the effects.

@@greenkoopaslept on comment
@theshuman100 because the bio weapon used against them killed off all of them to the point their bodies formed a planetary ring. Them fighting each other and killing each other didn't have a major impact until after that happened. And even before the virus it was still rare for fights like that to happen.
there were probably more if you counted the baby ones scattered about.
Through sheer terror and logistics, barely enough viltrumites to fill a bus had the universe by the balls.
Is it an empire if you have like... 50 guys? That's closer to being an unusually large sports team.
i mean, it only takes one to rule an empire.
If they were smart, they’d reform the empire into a system of fiefs each ruled over by a Viltrumite Pureblood responsible for fostering half-breeds, and then the fief lords would form an imperial court centered on the Emperor. That way they can keep control of their empire while recovering their population and increasing genetic diversity, thus reducing the chances of another scourge virus happening again.
Or a slightly small leadership. If each of those 50 guys is personally oppressing several star systems, I'd be more than comfortable calling the result an empire.
The thing is: their empire is made of multiple planets they colonized before and after the scourge. The population of those plantes work for the viltrumite, so, even if viltron doesn’t have a large population, the empire has a lot of people in it
The Viltrumites are the high class of the viltrum empire, each one of them controls at least one conquered world of other civilization, they are the lower class, build the stuff for viltrumites, harvest the needed food, provide suitable individuals for interbreeding if possible and such
To those curious, the reason there's only 50 left is because the young would be pit against each other and have to fight for their right to live in viltrum society in order to ensure they had only the strongest in their species, and while this led to the viltrumites becoming absolute units, it dropped their numbers to only double digits.
That's mostly wrong. While that played a small part, they still had tens if not hundreds of thousands afterwards. What dropped them to 50 flat was the plague
Bro forgot about the Scourge virus
When you're species is too savage to exist like the Saiyans.
Yep
There’s only 50 of us?
Alright everyone. You know what to do.
Take off your clothes and get in the pile.
I'm surprised they didn't force Anissa and Thula to become..... Y'know I don't have the word, to rebuild the population, because those 2 are the only female viltrumites I remember from the entire comics.
@@namishjain9238I’m guessing since they live for 1000s of years. Maybe it takes 100d to even mature to the human age of 13.
Maybe thragg wanted to populate with humans cause by there aging they age Wayyy faster 18 years is a sneeze to viltrumites and humans have almost 100% compatible dna. Plus unbeknownst to Nolan mark has adrenaline which would make human viltru hybrids a lot stronger in 1000 years compared to a full blood
@@Kannibu Im pretty sure nolan tells mark “the older we get, the slower we age” so i think their maturity rate should be about the same as a human

Also Viltrumite women behave like the men and "take" whatever they want if they are stronger, just ask Mark next season lmao
@@namishjain9238 by their philosophy this would certainly happen, and if refused, they would be killed.
That's the problem with the shallow gene pool. A lot more susceptible to disease. Someone who got killed during the culling could have had a mutation that made them immune to the virus.
That's the problem with genetic supremacy. Unless you're an eldritch abomination, you probably don't have every gene possible.
The royal family is immune to the virus. That's why mark survived
And knowing these guys not only did they kill the guy who was immune they probably killed the guy who could have made a cure. Lesson: Don't kill most of your population to prove you're the toughest.
Well in fairness, they killed off 50% of the population and >0.01% (don't know if they ranged from thousands or billions) of them survived the virus. Bio diversity is important but I don't see much of a possible improvement with that outcome.
There is nothing about that lol viltrum genes are so powerful that they can made baby with dogs and with times the baby would look like a full blooded viltrum so they are almost imposible to extinguish as a races

Yeah, but if there's only 50 left, they're bound to become extinct. You need at LEAST a few hundred to sustain a population.

You mean what happened before.
Why even conquer the Galaxy right now, then? Take a couple centuries off and repopulate. Or just have every Viltrumite take one planet and be its Superman.
the problem was that they were in search of a compatible alien that they could breed with humans humans are the perfect choice as they create perfectly able viltimites
without sacrificing any of their power.
They needed to keep the Coalition on the backfoot, who found it difficult to rally supporters until the Viltrum Empire showed weakness.
The show of strength was very effective, but it took just one to crack for it all to fall apart.
Because they made so many enemies that, if they showed even the slightest sign of vulnerability, they'd be screwed. Their only option was to continue to project strength while searching for a way to quickly get their numbers back up.
Because they have more enemies than allies due to their arrogance. Its like they pulled a saiyan sans them being enslaved by a overpowered lizard alien known a Frieza.
Earth was supposed to be a breeding camp, and they would have used it to rebuild their population. They sent Nolan there, and that Earthussy changed him 😅
So yeah plan failed, and that's when shit went down
Considering that there were only 50 pure viltrimites left they definitely should have focused more on reproduction of their population over intergalactic conquest. At least until they had a stable population again.

As a Viltrumite myself, i cannot deny the fact that you are right
Not why they're close to extinction.
The scourge virus did them in not their battles with each other
Im glad Omni man is getting his redemption arc
The Viltrumites are really like the Saiyans. War-like and little in number.
The saiyans were alot
I recently bought all the compendiums of invincible as a Christmas present to myself because I always see these videos and wanted to finally read invincible
This is actually why earth was so vital. Its actually revealed that vilturmites and humans are distant relatives and as such vilturmite human hybrids are the practically full viltrumite, so they need humans to create the strongest possible next generation
And as a benefit the human DNA gives them an immunity to the scourge virus and their other weaknesses.
Now it makes sense why Anessa Graped Mark.
This is good world building actually, because anyone as brutal as the Viltrumites would suffer greatly over time from lack of mutual cooperation, a benefit that shows up time and time again in nature.
except they can exploit the cooperation of their vassals making sure they all make different things for them and never connect with each other keeping the vassals weak and them strong. a benefit that shows up time and time again in empires.
If Nolan was smart he would've open an pet store on Earth, and raise an empire of Marks.
Well, they always said to purge the weak by any means and to anyone who shows it. After all, their own planet shows it the most.
They’re very Saiyan like. Vegeta had no quarrels killing Napa when there were 3 left and a half breed lol. They should just be pumping out half breeds if they really want to dominate the Universe
Maybe the Viltrumites shouldn't be acting all high and mighty since more than half their species got wiped out.
They wiped out their own species and 50 held the entire universe at ransom lol
@@ghostlyskunk4226Yes, they wiped out half of their species because they wanted to eliminate the "weak" but then they were dropped to 1%.
If a coalition of lesser species could drop a species of space killer like them to 1% then, they shouldn't act so high and mighty.
they made a ring around their world with the bodies of the fallen viltrumites from their own internal war for power after their king was betrayed. they are high and mighty, there is no act. 1 dedicated viltrumite could pop earth like a bubble if they didnt need earth so desperately.
viltrumites really are just more so tragic, yet twisted versions of kryptonians.
Less than 50 too but above 40, so there might not even be 50. Especially since there could have been multiple deaths somewhere in the universe that he doesnt know about
Ohhhhhh! So that’s why Viltrum needs Earth so badly- earthlings are the best genetic fit for procreation.
50 is still a lot. I mean Omni man destroyed an entire civilization within half of a day in season 1 when he went through that portal. It’s safe to say that 50 of them could reasonably conquer galaxies
And that is what they did.
If not for Thaedus the universe would be fucked. Good thing that Earthussy changed the viltrumites when they did decide to make it a breeding camp
That’s what they did lol
That's what they did
omniman is actually stuck in that "civilization" for a while. Thats why he grew a beard.
This is exactly why they want Earth. Earth has a compatible species through which the Viltrumites can replenish their numbers... Humans.
So I’ve been wondering, do they mean 50 pure blooded viltrumites remain?
Because I’m pretty sure there’s a lot of half blooded ones out there.
The Viltrumites look down on breeding with other races. Part of why Nolan had a kid was to see how compatible they were with Viltrumite dna.
Oh damn, how do you keep that a secret? 50 people keeping the galaxy on edge? I know they are tough but damn...
Dead men tell no tales.
Whenever someone finds out, destroy their entire planet before they can blab. Considering we've SEEN Nolan destroy an entire planet and make it look easy, having all 50 in one place is something you'd have to avoid if you wanted to take them on.
@@calamityknyteTale no tails
Can’t wait for it to be adapted to the show it will be an amazing battle
It is even worse with Krogans from Mass Effect - they were also threatened with extinction (but had much more numbers), yet instead of thinking about chilling out and finding solutions (unlike Viltrumites about the latter) they decided to plague the Galaxy as thugs, because they like to fight and die with honor as "wandering killers who evolved to be selfish".
Nolan and Mark are the only members of the royal family left. Anissa bails on Krieg when she finds out.
Damn when did Omni man turned good???
He’s technically always felt emotions about murdering innocents, he’s just been conditioned to follow Viltrum law. It was when he was about to commit s via black hole/collapsing star that he had his turning point. He saved his future second wife as a child, fell in love with her, had Oliver, then sought out Mark when they were in danger. He never cares about himself after this point, since he sees all the bugs are massacred, and feels immense grief from their deaths. Hell, Allen is the reason that he escaped instead of staying for execution.
That moment when an endangered species is literally conquering the galaxy
How to draw invinsible: fuck physics, go blood brrrr
Only 50 and they still care about their law?
This is why they decide to make Earth a breeding colony once they learn how compatible human DNA is to viltrumite DNA, basically an almost perfect clone.
Wow that such three people is a party energy 😂😂😂😂

"Less than fifty pure-blood"
Fewer, Nolan. Fewer.
Kinda weird that they never reproduced even though their DNA could bond with almost any sentient humanoid lifeform.
A lot of that is due to their culture, they only reproduced with the strongest races, bar humans (since those were closest to viltrumite dna)
I could agree with the culture thing they are prideful. Though Omni man smashed a bug lady and only looked human in form only. @@Chwarzerd
@@riza4086 Omni man is also kind of an anomaly lol
Part of the mission the single agents were sent on was to find species that were compatible. Humans are the closest ones on a genetic level which is why the scrounge virus would work on them.
Secrecy was paramount. Humans gain power faster, but even then it would take a hundred years to get to full power. They cannot betray their weakness until they have secured enough pure-bloods to revive their species.
Imagine how boring a society that mist be, 50 people and a hard ass leader who demands perfection and wears a suit that enables one to see EVERY vein in his body.
In india there’s a quote “ghar ka bhedi lanka dhaye” meaning a family member is the only one who can destroy a family, viltrumites would never lose if omni man never went against them
Nolan is so onit 😂😂😂 I cannot wait for season 3
Realistically speaking, if the viltrumites were actually as they have been described they would’ve forced themselves on Anissa to repopulate..
But PLOT said no
That's why they try so hard to not kill each other. They kill each other as last resort.
Look how they didn't kill Mark and instead told him go back and conquer the earth, and how hard they tried to convinces Nolan to go back to the empire
Technically Endangered
Functionally extinct, depending on how inbreeding affects them.
6:48-Your math isn't math-ing.
What I appreciate about the Invincible universe is how it expertly shows the pointlessness of establishing an Empire.
Either your nation is destroyed eventually due to a self destructive desire for control that eventually requires you to sacrifice your own posterity or you eventually will get simply diluted as your nation is stretched so thin your population mixes with other nations, typically the very subjects you attempted to suppress and control in the first place.
Empire never works. It will always collapse inward or the outward control will degrade with time. Even despite how powerful the individuals in that dying empire may be. It all comes to an end eventually.
Oh and you think our era of prosperity will last? Most of us are practically lucky to be living in an era of peace compared to previous centuries but that is only because the current world order is being head by the US which basically amounts to an empire. There are empires that have lasted for thousands of years far longer than most republics. We just have to hope that things will turn out okay and be prepared for the worst.

Yk this all could’ve been prevented if they just spent a couple thousand years repopulating it’s not like they would die from old age or anything
You mean, the Viltrumites could have vented theyre pent up energy at each other instead of the galaxy? Ingenius.
I think in terms of pure blood and quality
Yeah lazy writing.
Like artifically inseminate a few billion females of one of their planets and boom restocked numbers in no time especially if you use a fast growing alien race like the bug people
There was a virus that wiped out most of the population in the comics from what I remember reading in the comic, the scourge virus I’m pretty sure
@@Panthi-QTyuppers
This was such a great twist when I was reading this for the first time! Love this comic.
Viltrimites are literally if Krytoptonians slept around with saiyans 😂😂
Damn. Viltrumites be rarer and spread thinner than Republic Jedi.
This is why they're so interested in Earth. Humans are virtually identical and there they can replenish their numbers.
Only 50 left?
...then why are they so hell bent on expansion??
To not betray weakness.
That is why the Coalition of Planets struggle to gather support, because of the show of force. "Earth isn't yours to conquer"
@@happydemon3038 thats not weakness thats stupid.
@@void735 So then it's "they keep expanding to not betray stupidity".
Poor choice of words on your part.
Point is, they're in too deep to stop. They have so many enemies that if they show themselves to only be 50, they'd be piled on and destroyed. They only keep the Coalition on the backfoot by making it seem like they're not in the slightest bit weaker, being an overwhelming threat.
Because Thragg is insane, and would rather the Viltrimites be wiped out before he shows any sort of "weakness."
Damn a whole coalition of how many to take down 50 villtromites damn
There are only 50 of us left.
Thagg: I like that odd.
More like: theres only 50 left.
Thragg: (unzipps pants) I know what must be done.
i dont care how powerful you are there is no way you could control a galactic empire with just 50
they can travel almost instantly and crush a planets will with one dude on a lunch break.
You can. If everyone is basically supergirl level of strength
Well, they do instill fear on basically everyone
Bruh one can travel at light speed in space….
The fact that there’s only 50 of them is a secret that the conquered planets don’t know so if their population is ever tented to rebel they think they’ll have to face the entire empire. Fear keeps their empire toghetrr
I was wondering why we hadn't seen more of these fearsome viltrumites if they were everywhere and oh so powerful
Mfs only had a population of 50 and were ready to conquer the solar system
Imagine 50 evil supermen running around… crazy
Every empire inevitably falls.
allen has to be my favorite character
Considering how well Mark turned out physically, Viltrumites could have easily make a comeback by taking complete control of Earth, making it their main base and mass reproduce new, nearly pure blooded Viltrumites
I know a trap when I see one
Damn! That's more than the Saiyan and Kryptonian races combined. 😂
Nolan IA my favorite character by far.
50? That’s not an empire?! That’s a tribe. 😂
50 virtrumites vs 4 kryptonians, total massacre for the mustance
Omniman and Allen so awesome.
They do be doing The Scattering but in reverse
Damn, that's wild for all types of reasons.
I just realized that viltrumites are basically Saiyans... Super strong aliens capable of taking over planets on their own, lost their home world and spread far and thin acorss the universe.
