@@michelegore9749 a lot o hillbilly music originated from scotland(fiddle reel music is indigenous to scotland). there will also be some english input. ...most irish fiddle music only started in the late 1800s, adopted from scotland aland with 100s of scottish fiddle tunes. the popular folk music in ireland only started in the late 50s/early 60s. many many english and scots sangs were adopted by the fledgling irish bands then.
