    I had never heard this tune. I don't get tired of it. It is beautiful and so are you!
    I listened to a few others and this is the best. Lovely!

    Great lilting, flowing version,thanks. We play this into Petronella,a slightly more jumping Scots dance tune, to accompany the barn dance Lucky Seven,where the B part is a great rhythm for the 1- 7 count of the handshakes. Go gal, go!

    you made it sounds like a hillbilly rendition instead of actually scottish music....

    • @michelegore9749

      You do know that most “hillbilly” music originated in Scotland and Ireland, right?

    • @brucecollins641
      @brucecollins641 8 месяцев назад

      @@michelegore9749 a lot o hillbilly music originated from scotland(fiddle reel music is indigenous to scotland). there will also be some english input. ...most irish fiddle music only started in the late 1800s, adopted from scotland aland with 100s of scottish fiddle tunes. the popular folk music in ireland only started in the late 50s/early 60s. many many english and scots sangs were adopted by the fledgling irish bands then.
