The foam is less irritating than the liquid, and causes less dry skin than the liquid. I have used both. The itchy dry skin caused by the liquid makes you want to scratch the dry layer off, then the next time you apply it will sting and feel hot, and sometimes leave red patches. For the best experience, use the foam even though it is a little more expensive; you are only going to have to do this once, so do it right.
Man that beard came in! That's it I'm going to try it. Going to be wierd going through puberty again though. I'll be checking for hairs like a teenager again.

I prefer the liquid. You can get it on the skin underneath the beard better. I'm seeing results on my cheeks after only 2 months. I also use jamacan black castro oil on my beard. It's called Jamacan mango and lime black castor oil coconut.

Thank you. You can shave while using minoxidil. You’re not gonna loose the hair. It’s up to you if you want to shave or not. I only shaved my lower neck area
I started my beard Journey almost 2 months ago. I use the foam and the bottle lasted me 32days using it 2xs a day. I’m still in the weird faze or awakened faze and using minoxidil makes this stage not seem as bad. I have a lot of hair so the minoxidil is working and am completely happy with my journey so far.

I actually like the liquid version better. The dropper is helpful for spreading it around without touching it. But yeah, the liquid is very drying and causes itching, which you need to counter with moisturizer hours after applying (so as not to interupt the absorption of the minoxidil)
I've been using Minoxidil myself for 9 months now for my beard and my top has gotten a lot worse. It's not a synchronicity because the hair on the top of my head is not falling out completely, but it's not getting any better either. Was it the same effect in your case? And how long did it take for the hair to return to normal after withdrawal of the drug?
In my case the hair on my head started falling out around 3.5 months. It only lasted a month or so. Then my hair started to grow back slowly. Just to be fully transparent I was already thinning on the top of my head. I don’t have a full set of hair on top before I started and even now.
Minoxidil affects head hair and body hair differently. Once beard hairs are terminal, they’ll stay forever. Head hairs need constant applications to keep your gains. There’s some videos on here explaining why it’s different.
Yes the liquid takes forever to dry. Sometimes 2 hours to get fully dry for me until I started washing my face. Now it takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Wash your face people. And yea dude. You can definitely tell it worked for you. I can’t wait for my beard to get like this. ✌️

Yes my hair loss on the top of my head stopped. I’m still using. I think I will keep my beard hair after 18 months of minoxidil use. I’ll make a video to let you guys know what happens.
Only you can decide if you want to use minoxidil. No everyone sheds hair but if you do shed it’s only a temporary phase. Hair goes back to normal after the shed.

Thank you for supporting my channel. Kirkland if definitely a lot cheaper than Rogaine. I chose rogaine because I wanted to get the best name brand product on the market, but that’s just me. I think that Kirkland is almost like rogaine if not exactly the same. You should get the same results for paying less money with Kirkland.

It’s back to how it was before I started using minoxidil. For me the hair loss was a temporary thing. The chose is yours, you have to decide if a beard is worth losing hair on top of your head.
I used 3 months worth a few years ago and it did wonders. The product works based on " awakening " hair follicles some will wake up faster some slower. My sides are still patchy and its okay because when i used it, it just really worked effectively enough to make me say meh, i had a decent beard it just helped to wake up some areas

I'm a bit concerned about the shedding of hair on top? Does this grow back once you come off Minoxidil? I want to grow a beard but it sounds like I have to sacrifice my hair on top in order to do so?

The choice is ultimately yours. I decided to do it with male pattern baldness so I’d prolly also do it if I was in your position. Just know before you start it is a possibility.
Your beard is much thicker. I tried minoxidil on some patchy areas in my cheeks a couple years ago and was finally able to get a nice lumberjack looking beard. Also the short beard grows nice and even now. I was 52 then.
It does suck to lose your beard. I started losing mine in late summer 2022. I just started shaving all the time, and i noticed 'peach fuzz' at first. But as time went on, i noticed more stronger hair coming back... But it was white!! Ahhhhhh!!! White hair is better than no hair, haha!! Darker hair came back in later, although i opted to dye the hair later on. I didnt do anything other than shave all the time, and try to limit stress. But it has moved to my head. So as my beard struggle ends, my hair struggles begin. I just hope it mirrors my beard struggles. Thank you for your channel, i pray we give eachother hope!

I didn't have to ween off, and I kept all my gains. Try a derma roller for those bald spots. They helped me almost overnight, even without minox.

Caesar Cinema ive been using a 0.50 dermaroller for a month now, no negative side effects. Make sure to sterilize it before and after use.

I used 3 months worth a few years ago and it did wonders. The product works based on " awakening " hair follicles some will wake up faster some slower. My sides are still patchy and its okay because when i used it, it just really worked effectively enough to make me say meh, i had a decent beard it just helped to wake up some areas

Still, I have 1 patch that I'm always heated, I'm thinking on using Rogaine to see if it can be cover, but I don't know since I'm 40 years old I'm scared to have those side effects some people have la heart palpitations and headaches, did you have those side effects in your journey?? I'm a bit concerned about the shedding of hair on top? Does this grow back once you come off Minoxidil? I want to grow a beard but it sounds like I have to sacrifice my hair on top in order to do so?
If you have male pattern baldness then yes you might loss hair on top but it eventually grows back. At least that’s what happened in my case

The choice is ultimately yours. I decided to do it with male pattern baldness so I’d prolly also do it if I was in your position. Just know before you start it is a possibility.

Your beard is much thicker.
I tried minoxidil on some patchy areas in my cheeks a couple years ago and was finally able to get a nice lumberjack looking beard. Also the short beard grows nice and even now. I was 52 then.

Yes. They grew back.
It does suck to lose your beard. I started losing mine in late summer 2022. I just started shaving all the time, and i noticed 'peach fuzz' at first. But as time went on, i noticed more stronger hair coming back... But it was white!! Ahhhhhh!!! White hair is better than no hair, haha!! Darker hair came back in later, although i opted to dye the hair later on. I didnt do anything other than shave all the time, and try to limit stress.
But it has moved to my head. So as my beard struggle ends, my hair struggles begin. I just hope it mirrors my beard struggles. Thank you for your channel, i pray we give eachother hope!
