I am looking for a camera for livestreams on Twitch (Art streams) but I also want to make some nice footage for future youtube videos. ZV-E10 does 720 webcam streaming mode, and also has a 6k resolution that it does a downscale to 4k so the image quality is higher as well - a few notes, but the real reason to get the zv-1/1f is lightweight all in one with good stabilization and a good wide angle for the price vs modular jack of all trades, master of some.

    I'm blown away with how well the zv 1f records long podcasts for me. In 1080p 30fps it doesn't record long content in clips that need to be merged in post and in high heat mode it never overheats so long as the viewer window is out. My camcorders always recorded in that segmented file system and It made post capture editing and syncing harder. before this video I was wondering if buying the zv1 and the zv e10 to match my zv1f would make great sense for my 3-angle podcast shoot and also add a lot of flexibility to my content capture arsenal. And this video actually confirmed that for me. I will get the other 2 in the zv family because video will be very much that same yet the 3 together cover all the basses elsewhere in the filming and picture capture world.
    thanks so much!

    Thanks Greg: appreciate your Advice on how you are offering this info. So As you own all three, and your main camera seems to be???? the Sony ZV-E10. per the vid shooting right now. I own a Sony Cybershot from the HX9, 20, WX350, and Hx90 love it. I feel this camera no longer is going to be made like so. So going from that camera to the Z series. I am going to do Reviews. my lighting is by a window, I do not turn a house light on, and I am using a DJI Osmo Action 3 right now, like it for the front screen and mic port.. If I can force myself to use again my HX90. Ithen can say i will be happy with what camera. I will finish watching this. I watched your Z-F1 and its deffently no way a bloggers camera if it jitters worse then the DJI and gopro and the HX90 never Jittered, and that to me is the EIS sony lowered their standards to. a lot to say, I had hte ZV-1 for a day, and should have kept it but now I will beforced to pay full retail if I go that way. thanks for listening. any advice is always appreciated. ZV-1F sensor is 13.2mm X 8.8mm, diagonally that's 15.8mm. An inch is 25.4 mm.

    • @gregtoope
      @gregtoope  9 месяцев назад +3

      All 1 inch sensors are actually less than 1 inch. But it’s still what the are classified as.
      The term is based on old cameras
      The size of video camera tubes is simply the overall outside diameter of the glass envelope. This differs from the size of the sensitive area of the target which is typically two-thirds of the size of the overall diameter. Tube sizes are always expressed in inches for historical reasons. A one-inch camera tube has a sensitive area of approximately two-thirds of an inch on the diagonal or about 16 mm.

If they just gave the length and width of it, that would be ok, but some cameras crop too.
