After I defeated Shadowman's Beta with Colonel, I figured the battle wouldn't be _too_ difficult to navigate him down to double digit HP for the finish that Whisky requested.
Nicely done Rebyc! ShadowMan is really fast and it’s hard to tell where he’ll be when he attacks. I noticed you hit his fakes a few times during this fight, I think that’s unavoidable when fighting ShadowMan. But good job pulling off an S rank and getting the finish with the C-Slash!
Great timing on the counters, especially with LIfeSword. Nice job getting the S-rank even with a suboptimal folder and having to and a Cross Slash finish.
Haha, things like that lifesword counter for full synchro extension are why I decided to publish this video after all. I thought I just got the CS finish and figured it wouldn't be worth broadcasting, but I'd forgotten how much random setup was involved like getting lucky with spreader counters and even that raw widesword. Took me several rewatches to realize that the reason I'd even missed the Static immediately was so that with Rockcube+Airshot, I could leave him with 50 HP which prevents me from overkilling too hard (one of my pet peeves for my uploaded videos) with the final hit.
@@rebycVG ikr? His favourite and more often moveset is the Propeller throw that is indestructible, block most attacks and come out so quick for even any of your chips to counter. Wish element dragon or sticky rain or flicker kick was a thing in this game.

I think for my sub10 video, since I was trying to OSK with MagnetmanSP navi chip, I just gambled on RNG with him opening with his Charge Shot attack and countering with Thunder point blank. Otherwise, my go to for "hitscan" counter hits are FireHit chips.
It's a story event in both BN5 TP and TC. Happens about a third of the way in. (Kept it vague to avoid spoilers for anyone who hasn't played/forgot, lol)
Yeah same, lmao. Like I said, it never even occurred to me until Dark55 recommended it, lol. He's also recommended doing early Bass fights in BN5 which I also ultimately turned into a video so I can thank him for the content (if I ever get around to uploading them all...)

This is actually an unpopular opinion in the BN community, but the dub is my fav part about DTDS, lol.
I tried to do this with Protoman against Magnetman SP and Gyroman SP but the latter is very hard to do because his moveset is BS to deal with.
GyromanSP is sooo annoying to fight. I spent hours on him and still couldn't reliably get the counters right.
