I’m an OU fan and we absolutely deserve this. We have a bad year to our standards every 10 years or so. 2005, 2014, now 2022. But there is a reason the OU fan base is #1 with social media interractions is because they are soft when people criticize the team. They want to act like we’ve won a national championship because we had back to back heismans. Just getting to be really annoying and weak as a fan base/culture and it’s showing. The team last year with all that talent had 6 games decided by the last possession and went 11-2 and could have easily went 6-6.
How do we deserve this? Cowherd has been crapping all over the program for 6 months now. There is a difference between providing true lumps like Klatt and making stupid comments like Cowherd

People Hate on OU more than any other team. It’s not just a bunch of salty fans it’s good fans defending they’re team against hateful and vague statements. You seem to only notice the reaction. Statistics say Oklahoma THE FOOTBALL TEAM. Not THE FAN BASE ITSELF, is the most hated team in college sports over the last 10 years… why wouldn’t we defend one of the greatest programs of all time? They need a natty agreed but they’ve been LARGELY dominant until the last couple seasons for a long time… I’m surprised you call urself and OU fan and only notice the bad things about ur fellow OU fans… (yes I know some fans are annoying but everything I say holds statistic weight based on polls) 💯
Ohio State gave the blueprint in beating a Venables defense. Have 2 plays ready at the line, change it up depending on what they show, and quick tempo. Venables couldn’t overcome it at Clemson and certainly won’t at Oklahoma.
I don't think Fox understands what a good dynamic they have here with Colin and Joel. Colin's zany hot-take personality plays perfectly against Joel's rational, Herbstreit level straight analysis. It's fun and informative, amd ESPN doesn't have an equivalent. Would be fun to see these two on Saturdays.

They are guessing just like we do. Two weeks ago Colin thought Oklahoma was the second best team he saw and Joel would take Georgia over the field. They are entertaining together
Colin guesses. Klatt explains his reasoning. Two weeks ago Georgia hadn't stunk it up against Kent State and Missouri. He said it's a snapshot of now. He also said Georgia could end up in the national championship game. Perhaps you should listen a bit more carefully.
Yea, He's going snapshot now which is smart. But I should've taken his bet of georgia vs the field. Too easy
I still think Georgia is the #1 team. HOWEVER, I think they have the “we play to the competition “ mentality bug. So when they play Alabama in the SEC championship I think they will match and then out-match Bama. I think they just have that bug. And to make it clear, the mentality is 100% on the coaches.

Brees was short for the qb position but he had weight on him to absorb the hits. Bryce is super thin and seeing Tua get slammed to the ground idk how a smaller person like Bruce will hold up. Every qb will eventually get hit.
I wish Joel’s podcast got more love and more production from fox. He’s an amazing talent and if they let him get away it would be terrible

I agree but also worth mentioning he did say his rankings are based on how you looked mainly in the last week, so they're not necessarily related to who'd be favored against who. I'm sure UGA would beat Michigan right now and I think at this point Bama would be favored against us (OSU) as well but that doesn't need to match up with the way he ranks teams
