I just got dual resonator delete on my 440i and I was honestly very disappointed because it wasn’t loud at all. Will muffler delete sound better? Im afraid of drone thats why I kept it. With your honest opinion how is the drone?
I have an MPPSK exhaust on my car but i leave the valves open all the time. I also have a resonator delete and it doesnt drone hardly at all. There's some certain rpms under load that drone, but when cruising 95% of the time does NOT drone. In eco pro its actually quite quiet. Im going catless and full midpipe soon so its gonna be completely straight piped and im confident in the cabin insulation that it wont be bad at all
The drone is bearable, not silent though for sure. Around 2-3k it vibrates the car a little, but the sound you get outside is amazing. I've had a lot of compliments on the sound lately, I think you won't be disappointed!
Awesome. One more thing, how does the valve control work when you remove the muffler. If I decide to put the muffler back will the valve control still work?
@@gelo2672 I had them tuck my valve control wire up and weather proof it, and left the actual valve connected to the muffler. That way, whenever I decide to go back to stock, all I have to do is plug it in.
@@gelo2672 yes. I would leave the physical valve in the muffler and cover the wire connection. Cover the hanging wire on the car with some kind of weather proofing and hang it up out of the way. It wont hurt it if you don't but its security for me 😂🤣 like personally i just unplugged my valves in my mppsk muffler because i wanted more noise all the time
If you have the catless dp too , it’s going to drone quite a bit. But it’ll sound awesome from the outside haha. Currently the drone is not too bad. Just a little around 3k rpms.
I actually did not like the sound of the straight pipe B58 after my downpipe at all with MPPSK, so I cut and added the stock mid-pipe back, much better.
