This is the problem with the Internet. People can say anything, and other people will believe it. There is nothing to indicate that Patty Griffin has died. If she had died, a reputable source would have confirmed it. I remember reading that she had battled a serious illness. But she isn't dead, unless all news sources failed to report this (doubtful.)
