She also keeps switching to the cherries in the bowl clip, or the really close up cherry having the stem pulled lol I dunno what's that all about. Being artistic maybe?😅
Alright, so if you work quickly and just lightly press down on the heated plastic it is nto too hot. The plastic cools down VERY quickly so you have to work fast. If you hold a place for more than two seconds it does to start to burn, but you need to be constantly moving and reshaping the plastic. Idealy you shouldn't be holding onto one place for more than half a second. I did mess up a lot on mine (the air from the gun blew my shape off the pin lol), but the heat felt no more than a too-hot burrito straight from the microwave. The heat from melted hot glue gun glue is 10x as much worse imo. If you're really worried I would wear a pair of cotton gloves (anything plastic might melt). And I wore a VERY thick cotton oven gloves (not a mitt, it is shaped like a glove), which was super handy for the hand holding the flower up to the heat. I would not suggest going bared-handed for that hand. If your hand slips the heat gun might fall into your hand. But yeah. That was my experience~
#6 is best but ive used #1 and it shrinks a littttllleeee but but it's easy to shape when its heated up with a hair dryer or heat gun. Most of the time you can find #6 plastic in grocery stores. Its used as a container to hold cookies or cupcakes

Yes. Chalk or colored pencils or pastels will color the film and then you seal it in resin to make the color permanent. If not sealing in resin, the color will rub off eventually.
How do you makr it shiny and also what is the thing that you used after the blue light thing. I dont know what that it:( Is it glue? If so, what glue can I use.
this is gorgeous, i never thought to use a heat gun on the shrink plastic! super smart

Wow! So pretty. Lovely idea. Thank you for sharing. Gives me some great ideas.
Do you immediately touch the plastic to put it in shape or wait a bit cause I'm afraid if I try this Imma get burned
i think you’d have to do it quickly before it hardens, but you could use gloves?
I'm going to attempt this method Soon(tm). I'll give an update if it's hot or not!
And since she's wearing a glove on one side I'll do that too

The glue is uv resin. It's a clear liquid that cures and hardens when exposed to a UV flashlight, which is the blue light you're seeing
