I currently own a 2020 Escalade ESV & this rig suits my lifestyle to perfection: 40-50 mile freeway commuting to my manufacturing operations along with travelling with the high school hockey team & ski season. Absolutely no reason to change from Escalade.
I like the exterior and interior design, Super Cruise, AKG Audio system, and the 38-inch display. I dislike how expensive it can get, the gas-guzzling powertrains, and how the GMC and Chevy twins in high-end trims are almost as appealing.
I like that the seatbelt tighten automatically, the night vision with AI detection, the unique quilting, stitching and speakers on the seats headrest, I like that the air conditioner blower and heater blower lowers automatically to reduce noise when you pick up a phone call, I love the driver focused dash with it's 38 inch 4K OLED screens, the exterior in the white color, looking like a Stormtrooper/Darth Vader's face, the 36 speaker AKG audio system, self parking and Super Cruise. Three things I dislike. I don't like the dealer markups, no massage seats on the rear passengers and the auto stop start.
just why do you need to see what you see in front of you in a camera,. why cant they put the turn signals in those cameras ,. that would be a good idea.
too really like the vehicle but there's a few things that I feel would make an improvement. 1) Needs a surround Dash Cam. Everyone's using - dash cams and it's what you can prove. It's proof in case of an accident. If Tesla's doing it, than so can Cadillac! 2) I would like to see the gear shift buttons on the dashboard and not on the center consul
First time I see review of one of these with the bench seat instead of the captain chairs I would personally get this one I don’t think they offer the UConn Denali with the bench seat.
You can option a 2nd row bench for the Yukon: www.group1auto.com/carresearch/VehicleQuickQuoteForm/year_2023/make_GMC/model_Yukon/trim_Denali/id_57854/confid_group1auto-responsive/section_Options/#topheader
@@HawkeyeRides black is beautiful , but just for around 1h , is the time it takes to get dirty :) . I do have a black car and I’m his slave , swirls everywhere and I’m very cautious.
That is a great point, I also have a black SUV and what I do to help with the swirls is changing my microfiber pads every few months with 3 buckets. One with fresh water then I use that swirl mop bucket that spins to clean out debris and then drop it back in the cleaner bucket. Last step is a leaf blower and soft cloth (larger microfiber) to dry off.
@@HawkeyeRides I was reading ceramic coating can also help . But this time I’m switching to a white Escalade sport platinum with onyx package so I can keep some black around :)
These days the Cadillac Escalade is hard to beat. People compare it with other luxury SUVS but the Cadillac Escalade really has no Competition. Move over Rolls Royce, G-Wagon, and Bentley. There’s a Cadillac coming through. America is the greatest 🫡🇺🇸💪
This Cadillac Escalade is the best version vs the V, You get best of both world, more range, all the luxury and tech, although this one doesn't have all the options. At this point if you want anything better then this, you will have to wait for the Europeans to update their cars in 2030🤑
They both make a good vehicle and this well depend on trims and features. Both drive smooth, lots of inside room and good towing but when you go to more performance trims on the x7 this decreases along with payload. The BMW is better with weight distribution and more quicker in numbers as this is more derived towards luxury.
@@bno3381 the Escalade tows better, BMW is better prices and faster. BMW gets more power seat adjustments, heated armrest and quad climate control. Cadillac has more interior room, cargo space and drives more like a truck. I did look into them when I bought my new suv but I went with the QX60 because of the savings (over $10-30k), more features for value and it’s better on fuel. I didn’t need an suv that is longer and we are looking to buy another vehicle for the week so I have more money to get it (BMW m4 comp convertible). 😁
Beautiful vehicle. Since I would only on occasion need the 3rd row, I'd like to keep the 3rd row down most of the time. To hide it, and what's stored back there, I'd rather have the second row bench instead of Captain's chairs. The problem is that I wish Cadillac made the second row bench a three piece 40/20/40 instead of the two piece 60/40. That way I keep what's behind the second row hidden from sight, but when I do need to put long things inside like skis or fishing poles I just put the middle section down and still have two full second row seats on either side. Audi does that, it's second row is a 40/20/40. I just wish Cadillac did too. I might have already bought one but for this issue. Are you listening GM? Make your second row benches three sections not two. But dang, what a beautiful vehicle.
I bought a 2023 sport platinum back in November I have 7000 miles on it now this Cadillac is nothing but a big junk last Monday it left me stranded on the road. It just turned off out of nowhere without any warning. Got it towed to the dealer in which they told me it needs a new engine. After investigating and searching I found out its an on going problem with this engine

They make a great SUV 👍
They are the best 🫡🇺🇸💪
I'm contemplating buying one. Has it given you any problems? How many miles do you have?
@pungolay6586 , no issues. At 80,000 miles I traded it on for another one back in August.
2 months in, I have 8,000 miles on it. It is not an ESV but a Escalade Sport Edition; a veritable computer on wheels.
I am manifesting this truck in my yard @ my house in my possession.
They are awesome
I just bought the sport platinum and love it. Would buy it again
Congratulations they are nice vehicles 👍

Do the GMC and Chevy twins have super cruise, air ride, adjustable height, and a smooth ride?

Great review! I actually live near Lakeland so I may have to check this out!

Waiting for my Black monochromatic/onyx package to arrive this week! Can’t wait!!!
Congratulations the Escalade is awesome
It’s not bad! I really like the room and the technology. But if you want horsepower! Go get a V Series which ain’t bad either!
For power you have to go V overall nice SUV

I like this truck I can see myself trading my smaller Crossover SUV for this. Thanks
They are nice vehicle 👍
Yes, it’s worth more than the MSRP, the Asking Price.!!! IMHO 👍🏽
They are nice vehicles
How much does this cost?
The msrp is within the first 2-15 seconds of the video 👍
Did you say this is longer than the wagoneer?
ESV
What I have found is when people question me it’s because they didn’t listen to what I said 🤷♂️
If this was shorter i would buy it immediately
Sadly the larger suv only want to increase length
How did you add and remove the 2nd row bench? It comes with it standard and can easily be removed?
It’s not removable I was comparing it to the caption chairs in a different Escalade
I've had 2 working on my 3rd ESV.
That’s awesome congratulations
Would you say black is a better color than the crystal white on the caddy.
Yes it is
@@HawkeyeRides Thank you
