In the past 24 hours, I watched over 12 Escalade 2023 reviews, this one right here has been the most informative... By far. Really good job @703speed
Thank you sir! I appreciate you
I have one….. if you can swing it, get it…. Worth it ⭐️
Yes it is, and I have a 2021 Sport Platinum and I get more than this 2023
Best video of the Escalade I’ve seen. Thanks for the time you’ve spent in the making of this video 🙏🏽
Thank you!
This thing is marvelous ❤❤❤. When i first saw it, i fell in love with it. Got to have it.
Now that's a huge piece of car. Great review. Greetings
My favorite car!!!❤❤❤
I prefer the cadillac escalade over the mercedes gls and the bmw x7
Me too
One of the best reviews I have seen in awhile! Thanks
Wow - thank you!
I prefer the Escalade over the Dinali and Yukon any day.
Agreed
@@saeidsalari9104 I very much disagree
Obviously
all of them suck
Denali is a Yukon
Thank you so much for the details, I really appreciate that! You do great work, thanks again! I'm thinking about buying and I hate trying to figure out everything.
Thank you for the compliment!
Best video of the Escalade I’ve seen.
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words :)
Love the Escalade is a shame is so expensive. Love your videos you explain every feature you have to talk about so fast.
Give it a couple years and the price for it being used will be significantly cheaper. 😁
Nice review keep up the good work fella
Thank you sir
Love the all black color. I agree with you that the side steps that are not from Cadillac are junky looking. The tailgate while closing if it hits something like a suitcase it will stop closing and open up.
Very nice interior. Love the wood inserts that are used. The colored emblem on the steering wheel looks out of place. Should match the emblems on the outside. Cadillac should try harder to offer this level of vehicle at a lower cost. All the top-level vehicles are coming with prices that are crazy high. A lot of folks that have a big bank account don't like to waste their money. Thanks for that long review. It is appreciated! Time to take a break and review something simple like an old Ford Falcon.
Very good point about the steering wheel emblem.. I agree - especially at this price point. Hard to offer this level of vehicle for less tho. Everything like this is about the same price. Plus demand is high.. Yes, will be switching content up as time goes on. Looking to incorporate builds as time goes on..
I went to test drive the 2023 Escalade Sport Platinum allegedly. It had no entertainment system. It was the same price as the 2021. I purchased the 2021. I enjoy my vehicle, especially the AR 👏🏽👏🏽
My perfect vehicle!!
One thing also is the foot swipe to lift the tailgate-, on the right side take your foot swipe under the back bumper left to right and it opens the tailgate!
Bro I'm in love with this is car.
Wait for my video with the V😈
Love it
There’s no cover for the panel that lower the seats, so if you have stuff back there it can slide and press the buttons while driving
I can’t wait to buy this Cadillac Escalade sports
You got this🙏🏼
I have the power up assist step and when up the lights under are fire!!
how reliable is 3.0l diesel compared to 6.2l gas engine?
Hi very good video !!!. Could you be so kind to explain me wich is the function of the 6 flashing lights on the steering wheel's superior part...3 and 3 left and right?? Thanks
I like this Cadillac Escalade
Very good car and cool
new subscriber from Dubai.
Thank you!
Wish I could see you do a comparison of the drive quality and such comparing this exact Escalade Sport Platinum, but one with the 6.2 liter V8 and one with the Inline 6 turbo diesel.
Let me see what I can do
I love this car, 🚗💨
love it
I think I'm going for the Cadillac Escalade SUV because it is cool with the 38" screen display with the Augmented Reality camera and more stuff. I changed my mind about the Toyota Highlander and other cars.
The Escalade is a great SUV
I just got home from vacay. We finished our 12 hour drive home in the Lincoln Navigator and I can confirm that the Lincoln Active Glide sucks and is infinitely inferior to the Super cruise. The Active Glide annoyingly never let me go hands free on I-10 and super annoyingly kept reminding me to keep both hands on the steering wheel, even when both hands were in fact on the steering wheel. It's a fatiguing system. The Cadillac is the king of large luxury SUV's
I haven't tested Super Cruise myself, but have heard many people rave about how good it is
I'm trying to decide between the 6.2 ltr v8 and the turbo diesel inline 6 with the Escalade Sport Platinum. I'm also investigating if I can change to 20" or even 18" wheels, and maybe a couple inch lift with larger tires, in the after market, and pros and cons of doing such. Just don't want to mess up the great magna ride and adjustable air suspension, so we'll see. Oh, and I'm trying to track down what the max weight capacity is on the roof if I get a pop up tent for up there.
These are all good questions I don’t know the answer to. Haha. Diesel for better fuel economy, 6.2L for sound and performance
I watched your LINCOLN NAV video.. In your opinion, WHICH is the best? Navigator and Escalade?
Great videos! Thank You
To be honest between the 2, the Escalade is just the better vehicle. It’s better put together, more comfortable, better looking (in my opinion), sound system is a lot better in the Escalade, super cruise is better, I could go on and on. Lincoln needs to step up their game to compete with the Escalade. They can, they just haven’t yet. I know they’re capable of it tho. Right now tho - the Escalade is the better SUV
@@703Speed Thank you, very well stated! I agree with all of that. I'm planning to put in an order for a 24' SWB CAD ESC. GM is adding the LZO diesel engine in the 24's and making a few cosmetic changes to the escalade models, more sporty V-sport-like appearance packages etc.
The outside looks good. But the inside gray color/buttons look cheap in comparison to the price tag. The layout looks a little awkward. The front facing camera showing on the dash isn't for me. The shape of the info screen is different. I have long legs so the center console makes for an uncomfortable for. I'm not feeling it overall
Mine is being built acually today. Platinum edition, with every toy you can ask for.Black raven. At 121k. Yes its alot of money, but you get what you pay for. I think as a whole it has all that a person can ask for.Yes its gm, yes they don't build them like german qaulity, but show me one suv that has the look and ride and safety as this one , they all have flaws somewhere.Yes lexus suv are better for reliability ,but they are boring looking. Thats my take. Thanks for video, learned alot from it.
Yes, a lot of money indeed. But like you said, there really isn't anything else like it on the road. Looks great, drives great, is very comfortable and safe, and has pretty much every feature you could ever ask for... I'm happy you liked the video!
Down in mexico, we dont get these trim levels. We only get the luxury trim, which we have and would highly recommend to anyone.
PLEASE do a review of the 2024 Lexus LC 500!
Let me see what I can do
Just noticed the lights blinking on the steering wheel. Is that as distracting as it seems on the video? Does it always do that, and can you disable the blinking lights?
It doesn’t do that in person. It’s just getting picked up due to the frame rate of the camera
Nice. A question I have been struggling to find the answer to, I thought to return and see if maybe you know the answer? The GMC Yukon Denali and Yukon AT4 both advertise having "Active Response 4 wheel drive", while the Escalade does not advertise having that, though all do or can have 2H, 4H, 4L and Auto, But since they are all GM, and the same base vehicle, do you know, does the Escalade have that same active response 4 wheel drive functionality/capability but perhaps just doesn't call it that due to being Cadillac and not GMC? And if not, might that cause the Escalade to not handle the bad snowstorms quite as well? Thanks.
Hmm. I looked into this, and came up with nothing. However, this being the Escalade, I would assume it too has the active respond 4wd. It’s pretty much the same car as the Yukon, just nicer and with more options. That’s why I would think it would come with said 4wd system
Beautiful. Wish I could get the fully loaded top Sport Platinum trim with the thicker rubber 20" wheels of say the Yukon AT4 instead of the 22" wheels that come standard. Living in mountainy ski country that thicker rubber would be useful. It is supposed to be an suv after all.
Could always do that aftermarket, or buy a set of AT4 wheels and throw them on this. They're the same bolt pattern, so it would work
@@703Speed Interesting. Do you know, if I did that, would they be the same circumference, would they cause any change to the data that the vehicle generates as you drive, things like distance travelled, mpg, others?
@@Nate-zy5ce That's a good question.. Idk if they'd be the same circumference, but it might be close bc you have a thicker tire. Im sure the data might be different, but you could always calibrate it.. If the Yukon can accommodate for either 18's or 22's, I'm sure something can be done to calibrate that stuff for the Escalade
@@703Speed I hadn't thought of that, but what you say makes a lot of sense. Thanks.
It won’t work if it is the fully loaded one. The brakes calipers and rotors are huge so 20s won’t work
These new Cadillac Escalades are low key the best and most high tech SUV money can buy. If you really do your research you’ll find nothing has as much tech and safety. We are almost at the end of 2023 and I’m still waiting on Mercedes, BMW, Audi, and Range Rover to come out with similar tech.
I agree! Nothing really like it on the market
The only thing I don't like about the interior is that glossy wood trim. I would prefer other interior trims for the sport platinum like a wood with a matt finish or carbon fiber or something like that.
Ya I agree.. Like the wood that's in the Denali Ultimate
Waoo❤❤❤❤❤❤the best
Just got mine and love it
Lucky you and congratulations! What color did you get?
@@703Speed Black
How much them payments running you? Lol
@@UnpredictableAri around $900
First payment will be in September
So beautiful 😍🤑👑🫡
I'm getting the V in December. I know, I could buy a small, but I would rather drive my house. 😮
Oh wow so great 👍 and very beautiful 😻❤️ and the engine 🚂🚒 very strong and powerful for the off 🛣️ road 💪🛣️ or high way and very good design with the new 🆕 technology for the new generation hument very easy to drive and comfortable ❤
Exactly!
Im in sales at Dodge Jeep and Ram Cincinnati ohio. The Grand Wagoneer completely has the best interior from All suvs. Just check it out. You wont be disappointed.
I’ll do a vid with one next time I’m at a CDJR dealer. Thanks
It is my first car ❤️
Hell of a first car!
can you turn off the blinking lights on the steering wheel
You can’t see that in person
These days the Escalade is the pinnacle of luxury, technology and practicality. At this point everyone else is playing catch-up🤷♂️
gm aint on rolls royce or bentley level
@@mattnorman5241 No your right, GM is at a higher level. Cadillac invented most of Rolls-Royce capabilities. Cadillac invented air suspension, also your Rolls Royce’s dual coil dampers, Cadillac was the first vehicle to use Led light, first to use night vision, also invented magnetic ride control, first to use 4K OLED screens and now the first to use a true semiautonomous driving system. Cadillac was the leader in the past, above Rolls-Royce and now they are back to surpass everyone again. A great example is the new Cadillac Escalade which is the highest tech vehicle on the market right now. The Escalade offers everything Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Mercedes, and BMW. The only difference is that the Escalade has more tech.
@@inchlorIentztJiIu 🤣🤣🤣🤣 gm sucks
@@mattnorman5241 Your answer tell me how much you believe that. 🤦♂️🤫😂
@@inchlorIentztJiIu gm owners always hate on real luxury high end car owners cause they cant afford it
Can you make a video Cadillac escalade v
I can try
Would you say black or white would fit this beast most.
Oof. Both are great. For me, white with black wheels is better though
Remember the days when these were called station wagons. 4 hinged doors and a movable back glass.
Lol.. This is too big to be considered a wagon. But I see your point
One day İnshallah ❤
🙏🏼
Can u get a chrome package?
Don’t get the sport and you’ll get more of what you’re looking for
❤
I prefer my 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4, and its also all blackout.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 king!!!
Imagine picking up a 2x4 in the back
Lol. I’m sure some people have and will!
This is expensive, But I try to afford one bro.
You got it. This one is worth it
Escalsde all the way....
What is up with the flashing lights on the top of the steering wheel? that would drive me nuts!
That is supercruise. I can’t see those flashing lights in person. The camera is picking that up due to the frame rate
18 mpg on the highway is decent for a vehicle that big with that much horsepower.
Agreed
In the sport version is there turbo deiseal ???
Yes, the 3.0L Duramax
Cadillac Escalades today look like pimped out Chevy Tahoes, Old escalades were something else
Nahhh, these are sweet and in person you can tell the big differences between the 2
@@703SpeedOh, but the old Cadillacs were sick too
@@NoName-fo6ps I agree.. The early 2000's ones are a steal right now
@@703Speed Hopefully they still are as my 1st car, crazy ideas 🤪
The gloss wood trim makes this look dated and cheap. The open pore wood on the Denali and Denali Ultimate are far superior.
I do prefer the open pore as well
A 2x4 in an Escalade. I think maybe not
Nope the Yukon Denali Ultimate looks better than this IMO....🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
Escalade
Buy Other Stereo equipment.
Nah, factory stereos are always the best option imo
I prefer the Chevrolet Suburban High Contry
Garbage
Doesn't look sporty to me, just another oversized, clunky poor handling SUV.
Noting sexy here, just a shady work around from the CAFE standards! I have to say that the auto manufacturers have done a brilliant marketing campaign to convince so many people that they need to have a SUV.
Not a word is ever said about there safety?
Realistically, what is the true need for such a large vehicle other than towing?
I think you'd be surprised at how well this handles
Enjoy your 2017 Toyota Camry.
I had a 2010 and was dumb enough to get a 2016 again. Will never buy an Escalade again! Had so many issues with both that one should’ve qualified aa a lemon. Currently waiting for my Navigator to come in. IDC if the Escalade looks better or not. They’re fkn garbage!
Only downside is limited trunk space. I know there’s the esv option, but consider what Tahoe did over the past couple years realizing their trunk space sucked. The exterior doesn’t look like suburban but they improved trunk space
