Dylan and Sadie are such incredible actors. The whole kitchen scene was improvised by both the actors and taylor didn't stop them in between because they were doing it so well. Thank youuu for your reaction

The short film is a masterpiece just like the song. For me “All too well” is the best Taylor’s song because the lyrics are so shocking and sad. Also, your reaction videos to Taylor’s songs are amazing!

I don’t think a lot of people have noticed that later in the credits, it says: “Him older” or something like that, and the name of the actor is Jake 😅😅 and it wasn’t necessary! We didn’t even noticed it wasn’t Dylan at the end, because the face of the guy looking from outside with the scarf isn’t shown, but that’s our queen Taylor and her subtle details, genius. The guy’s name is JAKE 👌🏻🔥

The birthday party did include a lot of his friends. On the 2012 album, it is described in The Moment I Knew. One of the reasons for writing 22 was the difference in how she felt when she was recording Red, instead of living through the moment with Gyllenhaal. Also, by that time, I think she had started an on and off relationship w/Harry Styles. Much happier, even if wasn't perfect.
The scarf makes a re-appearance in the mv for I Bet You Think About Me, a fantasy wedding reception (it seems to be all in his head). Taylor crashes the party, turning things RED, and gifts the scarf to the new bride, lol. Lots of Easter Eggs in that one, too. In a way, that video is an allusion to the 2010 Speak Now album (the title track was a fantasy of Taylor crashing a wedding; she released the record a couple weeks before their relationship started (so it was approaching 2 x platinum) and she wrote ATW at a tour rehearsal, just ad-libbing the thing.) A lovely farce to push the point home -- she emphasizes her country accent (bc Jake didn't like country) acted like a kid (she was about a decade younger), gets drunk in public (she was under the legal drinking age in the US -- until she turned 21 in December) and she ended it by dressing in clothes similar to her (very successful) Red Tour. It is also worth noting that the Red album and tour were nearly 2 years after the end of their relationship, which was only about three months (end of October to December). If you watch the video for WANEGBT, her band is in Halloween costumes as a shoutout to the October release of Speak Now and their short relationship.

The actual scarf is not red. It is primarily Navy blue with gray and dark red stripes, she was seen wearing it when they were together, and then at a later date he was wearing it. Possibly he may have forgotten that it was her scarf, also her being so much younger than him, her feelings were probably much stronger than his. I, myself was in a similar situation. When I was 17 YO, I ran away with my then older boyfriend who was 9 years older than me. We married just before my 18th birthday, and he was verbally and physically abusive, as a friend picked the pieces of a Jack Daniels bottle out of my hair/head she convinced me to leave him. Thank goodness I listened.
