I'd not thought about this. I spoke with the developer about his favourite new feature and he didn't really have one, so I'm not sure what will be new. I'll investigate further and have a think about it though. Thanks for the suggestion.
I use opentoonz and now switching over from AE to OT/Tahoma for comp as well since I can't afford AE anymore. If you know what to do, you can create so much. Iwane Masaaki streams everyday in Japanese using OT and looks like he's fully switching from Clip Studio to OT. BTW, he worked on the original Dragon Ball during the Cell Games stuff on some of the most famous episodes. Guy is legit! I've tried telling the studios I work for to use OT. Japanese animators is it a lot more than western ones.
And honestly, I've been thinking about it a lot recently, but the snubbing of non American made animation is frustrating. Moho is an amazing rigging software as is Clip Studio and OpenToonz yet since Hollywood doesn't use it, it's not legitimate by influential circles in North America. The industry is struggling to move forward imo on the production side. Darren, thanks for all the awesome videos. If I had more cash at the moment I'd love to help out. Maybe in the next few months ^_^

It's a new feature.
Newer than 1.4.
I'm not sure if it will be in the next release either, possibly the one after that.
