Great video Darren, entertaining as always. I saw you mention these things: Selection Tool - edit within a single drawing, changes are permanent. Animate Tool - edit the exposures on the timeline/xsheet, keyable, changes are non-destructive. So using one or the other depends on the context. Change a drawing, or change a sequence of exposures.

I don like brush size slider. In my opinion it will be good to have diffrent number brush size preset, like 1, 1.5, 3, 6.2 .. what user could customize himself. So you can click to needed number and change the brush size. Do you like idea? Maybe you could suggest it to OT developers if you have contacts. 2) Also color numbers shoud start from 1 not from 0. To use hot keys obviously. And maybe choosen color should change its form. Myabe round instead of rectangle to easy understand what choosen color. Hello Darren!
Thanks for your feedback. 1. You can already save presets using the + - buttons at the far right of the options bar. They'll then appear in the dropdown that's next to them. 2. I know a lot of users find it confusing that numbers start from 0, but the reason is because colour#0 isn't a colour you can change and it's actually an "erase" colour. So the colours you can adjust and use as colours do start from 1.
Amazing, thank you! That’ll save me ALOT of time!! I’d love to see a vector vs raster levels video. I’m currently using vectors, but not 100% sure if it’s the best for my needs or not.
Thank you. And making the intro was fun, as you might have noticed in the video 😆 I've made a few videos about the effects. You can see them in an effects playlist on my channel. Are there any effects in particular that you was interested in?

Hi Darren, Every time we import images in colour model, it creates color samples, can we turn of that? As we import few images turn by turn, there will be a no. Of colors makes difficult to find the preferred one. Thanks
Could maybe even have you state how many colours you would like retracted to the palette. But I get your point. What you could do instead is tho grab the individual colors you want in your palette with the "new" eyedropper. I you hold down ctrl and drag a square it will even be able to find the average color. Which is very useful when trying to find the right colour in a dithered image.
That's a great question. But my question to you is, what are you using the colour model for? The point of importing an image there is to be able to add the colours from the model into your drawings. If you just want a reference, use another viewer instead. Does that help?

Nicely put - I would have liked you to show the 3D camera view on the animate tool while rotating!!😊
Thanks. You wouldn't have seen much more in 3D. The rotation is all in the same plane.

Does opentoonz have a way to render an image with transparent background
It does this by default.
If you don't add a background and render to a format that allows transparency (png, gif, webm), you won't have a background.
@@DarrenTAnims ooh thats very nice 😊👍 thanks
