If CF has majority control then don’t look at anything big coming to the small parks like Michigan’s Adventure. At least Six Flags tried spreading the wealth all across the board. CF plays favorites over the red headed step children.
@justinsimons5633 Sixflags sold off their flagship park as well as some in Europe because they was desperate for money or go bankrupt, which they eventuallydid anyways. They had a megapark that was the biggest park in the world the only park they cared about(five coasters in 2 years which was so dumb) that they sold to Cedarfair at a huge loss. Cedar Fair scaled down the park and eventually just made it a Waterpark to shutting it down completely.
Cedar Fair parks are managed much better than SixFlags. The themeing and overall look of the parks is much better. For instance Cedar Fair would never have just some old ugly concrete slab underneath one of their premier roller coasters.. it will be green grass and lighting…though it may seem like a small thing… it goes into the overall look and theme
@@CoasterHead normal to the point where the fire department forced them to shut down the ride? What is it with this Cedar Fair fanboying so much? I don’t get it
They WILL close smaller, under performing parks in both chains & move rides to other parks in their chain or to other entities. YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK, GUARANTEED! Just like they did to Geauga Lake but on a much larger scale within 2 years.
@CoasterCollege We seen this a bunch of times when a company takes on a failing budget business model and both companies end up failing (example 1 sears and kmart)
@@exploreohio1735those companies had major competition. At least in America the only other true competition in terms of amusement rides are Herschend and IoA, and both of those companies are on the east coast while SF is concentrated in the Midwest and West.
Personal dream of mine is that Cedar Fair CEOs looks at the old plot of land that used to be Six Flags of Astroworld and [re]build a new park there, whether under the Six Flags or Cedar Fair name. But that's all that it is: a dream. 🥲
I am actually happy we have a CEO who knows what he is doing.

Makes more sense, This is why SF of old always in trouble. This is also a company that got so desperate they sold off their flagship park
@@exploreohio1735wdym they sold off their flagship park? Cedar point has been the flagship park for as long as CF has existed

Six Flags never maintained their rides. Also Six Flags allows too much ghetto behavior in their parks. Line cutting needs to be enforced strictly.
Actually Magic Mountain has been cracking down on line cutting
Dragster almost killed a woman and Fury 325 had a catastrophic structure failure😂

DOMINATOR!!!!!!!!!!
Ive heard Six Flags is in deep dodo. We will see what happens. ❤❤❤
Bad news for the industry. Cant wait to see whats changed in 10-20 years
the best part of being a ride op is getting all happy whenever i see my ride in someones video
I’m not sure how taking on somebody else’s ailing and expensive problems is great news for Cedar Fair?
Six flags has assets that are great for Cedar Fair
