Love it when you two make something beautiful from your finds. The videos have calming effect and your voices are soothing , not like some who are so shrill , loud , and hyper That I can't even watch these videos anymore . Looking forward to Sunday .
Lovely buttons, Kate, and lovely earrings! This is such a pleasant video, as though you've invited us in to your garden for a little visit.😻 Kisses to the Sunny cat, and can't wait for next Sunday!
Kate the buttons are awesome. Please make some to sell. Pretty sure you won’t be able to make them fast enough! I’d be the first one to get a dozen! Great idea and great job.
The buttons are a great idea. I see you wearing eye protection (bravo) but sure would like to see you wearing some cut resistant gloves holding those small pieces in case the drill bit should grab one and spin it. At under £ 7.00 for an inexpensive pair of Kevlar gloves it's pretty cheap insurance.
You make a very creative team and never fail to impress. I'm sure that watching your relaxing videos has become quite therapeutic for many of us, especially when you are out in your lovely garden. Big gummy yawn from Mr Sunny.
Old dirty rusted coins tip. Red wine vinegar and teaspoon of salt, pour about 1-1/2 inch into a cup[ and put coins in, wait about two mins and turn over. Take out and run warm water on then, really good for bronze coins. ( hint, do not let the cat near it) LOL Have a nice day :)
Wonderful video again ladies! I hope that you will still do the odd crafting video among the mudlarking ones because they are such a pleasure to watch. I love those buttons! It was lovely seeing Sunny cat and now I can't wait till Sunday! x
Beautiful! And y'all have the most wonderful music, very calming in this ever more mad world. Yes, there is a diamond round bit that can either drill out a larger hole or be used to make discs that can be buttons or whatever. That would allow you to make buttons out of shells, wood, or stone. Fun stuff! Thank you.
That just took your cardigan from plain and simple, to playful and pretty. What a delight! A very nifty use for some of your porcelain pieces indeed. Thanks for a lovely time in your garden, where wit and whimsy abound, and Sunny Cat is entrancing. I can hardly wait for your next video, it sounds so mysterious yet wonderful. Have a lovely day.
I love the style of how you combine music, nature shots, your art and chatter...it's delightful and so unassuming, making it very attractive to watch...thank you.
What a great idea! Using bits of pottery as buttons, you can figure from a man's prospect to use wood and bone. Way to go Kate such a fantastic job, also such a lovely day to be in the garden. Excited to hear of the new video, sounds so exciting with lots of extraordinary finds, can't wait to see it. Take care and much love and respect ♥️.
Love the pottery buttons! I can tell from the wonderful things in and around the house you girls have a good eye & great style. And thanks mom for the cardi! 😉 I love the Blue & white buttons on the orangish sweater & the yellow thread! Very talented, resourceful & repurposing family! Very much enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing a part of your lives with us. -Sam from NC
That was very good, thank you. It cheered me up at a point when I needed it. I'm looking forward to Sundays video. I'm glad you can get out a little bit now. The buttons were fabulous. I think a video on how you've regrown things would be good.
Hi ladies & Sunny 🤗👋🏻 I really loved your video, the buttons are adorable. I’ve made what’s called broken China jewelry, it’s from damaged dish ware and other things. What I use to reshape the pieces is called a dremel and also tile nippers. Looking forward to the new video !
Ooh! You could make some pretty charms and pendants from mudlarked china pieces. I do hope you'll sell some things like these buttons in an etsy shop or something like.
WONDEFUL!!! Those buttons look great-- nice work, Kate! The one you thought looked llike a heart, I immediately thought of as a fox. Love it all (even the sewing lesson!). Scritches to the Sunny Cat- and love to all of you over the sea. 💖
The buttons are adorable! What a good cat Sunny is, mine would have been "helping" me sew. I am so curious to see what your first day back mudlarking was like, you have me really curious. Give Sunny some pets for me!
Oh my goodness Kate! you are so sweet and beautiful! I LOVE your buttons! I;m a knitter so I admire beautiful buttons, it's hard to find unique ones! TFS Hugs!
What a fabulous and creative use for your blue and white's 👏👍. This was SUCH a calming and intimate visit with you in your magical garden😊. LOVE your workshop (for entire family usage?). Looks like you do alot of fun crafting in there. 👋Hello to Steve and Tony🐟🐟, and of course kitty hugs and kisses to Mr. Sunny😻😽(not stealing your chair, mum...just keeping it warm for you 😽😼). So very happy 🤸🏿♀️🤸🏿♀️ your able to return (somewhat) to your favorite mudlarking pass time. 🕉️🤗🤭😘 To your family.
Your Kate is a delightful young lady. Liked your garden tour as well. Being locked down was hard. Just because they want to get back to work doesn't mean it is safe out there. Buttons from sea glass would look cool.
Girls I Loved this idea ❤ I wish a famous Designer would see this because it could be a new fashion and you would get order after order for your Buttons that would be amazing for your family...I could see it going really big in the fashion world💕 stay safe 💖
I wish I could just come and hang out with you guys. I want to go mudlarking so bad. I live in the USA California to be exact. We don't have any bottle dumps and creeks full of pottery. I have a wheel barrow that I throw any beach find in, then I mudlark through my wheel barrow. I live near a lake and collect drift wood to make wind chimes. I do a lot of art projects. I wish you guys would put together bags of your finds and sell them in your shop, I would buy some. Keep doing what your doing I'm a big fan. Hugs, Diana.
Making that glass into buttons with beautiful and then put put in them on your sweater you look beautiful all button up you are a very intelligent young lady
Again a very creative creation. Yes I too was wondering about shaping them round. I also wondered if they would fit the button whole as they were oddly shaped. But I guess they did. Will be looking forward to Sunday.
The buttons look wonderful. You did a great job. The sweater looks very cool with those buttons. It’s one of a kind. Take care, Joyce . Connecticut, U.S.A.🇺🇸. ARROW *🎱
The roosters or whatever the birds at the beginning, it may have been loud for you there but it wasn't that loud to us. Just a hint... Oh your buttons are a great idea. I have another one for you. Make buttons from Branches cut/ slice sections, sand and stain them the wood grains from the different woods are very beautiful. They sell quite well here where I live the eastern US. Have a great weekend coming.....
Fleur can I just say your daughter is very beautiful, sunny is a lovely cat I miss my cat so much, she was the biggest fluffyest black cat,i had to rehome her as I moved to a new flat and wasn't allowed pets. I love the way sunny purrs in most of all your videos.
That was so lovely spending the afternoon in your beautiful garden. The buttons look stunning (you can shape them later) I think these would sell well in a shop if you wanted to take them in that direction. Looking forward to Sunday! Best Wishes to you and your family all the way from Tasmania. :)
Thanks for the gardening tips ..I’ll try the spring onions and celery..we don’t have a garden so it will be nice to try grow something in my kitchen ..
I spotted a Lantern hanging from the tree in your patio. A thought came to me for your metal pieces and see glass. You have a wonderful imagination I'm sure you can shape a lantern frame with some of the metals, add large pieces of broken bottle pieces and sea glass on the outside. On a sunny day the colors would be wonderful to see. Perhaps a candle inside for evening viewing. Thank you for inspiring me to continue my crafting. When I complete my seaside town made of discarded bricks and broken slabs of sandstone stepping stones I will send you a photo Julie CA/USA 19 June 2020
Wow looks so good. I had my doubts,I was having trouble getting my head around the fact they weren't all round and even lol. But it turns out there just perfect the way they are.
