This video was made for me .. I struggle with starting things and never finishing them. If I may be honest, it beats my depression up because I can’t seem to focus solely on one thing so instead I look at several different things instead of zoning my focus in so it makes me give up on everything. Ugh, it’s tough ... it’s a back and forth battle with my brain. 😟

I am 37 years old and for as long as I can remember I have had the "I am going to be an entrepreneur" thoughts and dreams. The idea that I can create this life I am passionate about living is insanely motivating to me. I cannot stand the 9-5 life, despite the fact that I work a job that pays quite well. I will be fully transparent in the fact that I am a 'dabbler'. I get so motivated and excited about a new business, and a week later when I am feeling unmotivated and frustrated or its not happening quick enough...I am on to the next thing. This has been something I have struggled with MY WHOLE LIFE! I struggle with severe anxiety and overthinking and sometimes get stuck in this sort of "spiraling" type mind set that leaves me paralyzed from taking any action at all. Instead of taking consistent action daily, I just become paralyzed from the fear of "what if I spend all this time and it never makes me a dime" mindset.
I know I am rambling, but the point to this is that I recently came across your videos and INSTANTLY subscribed. You are both so inspiring and offer really sound and logical advice. I want to turn Covid and being stuck in my house a fair amount a new way for me to prove myself wrong and know that even at 37 years old, I CAN achieve the life I have always dreamed of. I do not believe you have to be young and in your 20's to achieve massive success.

Hi April, you are still so young at 37! You'll do it. Find something that you LOVE doing and that you're passionate about. That will get you through the initial stages of not making much money to give it chance to grow.

Just in the right time, I’m currently unemployed as a 17 year old high school student trying to pay off my bills as my funds are limited. Got an interview last week but pretty sure I didn’t get the position, thanks for the video.
My 17yr old daughter is in the same situation. Would love to hear how you would advise up and coming graduates who don't plan on going to college. (which I fully support!) At 17 they have no money and my 13yr old would like to start something on line, too but he's has $200. He want's to invest some into Bitcoin but how does he keep making money with little start up costs?

@@nadinehope230 Well as for me I am living in Seattle and there is an offer called a Seattle Promise Scholarship Program for 3 community colleges, where up to 2 years worth of free tuition is provided for anyone who has graduated in any public high school in Seattle. If I were to not have that privilege and not even pursue college in the first place, I’d first start off by getting a job then working my way into what I really enjoy doing. I recommend trying out different routes, whether that can be vocational schools, bunch of different programs and opportunities are out there to seek for on what your children may be interested in if college is not on their checklist. As for investing, I have done quite a bit of research on bitcoin but it may be a late runner for him to invest as of right now due to the pandemic itself and not no much progress as the start up cost is fairly little. I suggest holding and saving that money until you guys are comfortable investing that into bitcoin or into something else rather than in the stock market’s unpredicted volatilities. If he were to invest that right now, his portfolio could be built along the way just buy buying a few fractions of it and it’ll start making some moola. Henceforth, I have also been thinking about investing in the market and putting it on hold but I am still thinking about doing so. Whatever floats the boat and gets the better for themselves! Just few months later my motivation dropped and i haven't been able to see my ideal result because i wasn't motivated to focus on it. It’s true. We are planting seeds. As we nourish them consistently we have to have faith that things are happening. And yes keep touching base with that vision. Take time to connect with that through visualization, journaling, etc. and keep moving forward.

Thank you guys, i’ve just launched my first shopify store and struggling with facebook ads. But i will not quit til i get it right!!
For me, the greatest motivation or the first thing that really triggered this desire to build a business was the fact that I could not afford piano classes. Living as a refugee in Germany already put all the odds against me but it really couldn't defeat me. I listed everything that I loved and couldn't afford and hung it on the wall to see it every day as the result of all the actions and risks that I hadn't taken so far.
It has been almost 8 months since that day and although I still haven't seen much return, I'm only working for myself and I know every hour spent is just a contribution to more value.
Remember guys! Success or failure does not happen to you. You carry their seeds with you all around.

For people that are starting an FBA business, I have been doing it for a year and still cannot pull out money from my business as I am reinvesting. I expect it will take another year, to year and a half before I can pull out money for myself, so motivation is very important to keep going in an e-commerce business.

Nobody talks about health. What if your health is taken from you along the way. Motivation isn't always possible. People sometimes sometimes ignore this and force themselves to be motivated when they simply can't.

I am currently in the shiny idea syndrome stage xD I have several ideas for how to monetize my hobbies but it all takes time and effort to do, obviously. And I am not sure which idea is best to focus on. It turns out I can't monetize my art speedpaint RUclips channel because I am drawing cartoon characters (kids law) and that makes me sad, I wanted to focus on that the most.
