This video shows an easy way to install stainless steel wires on a round staircase handrail and landing post. Following these step-by-step instructions will ensure that your wires are properly spaced and your stainless wire balustrade looks great. The video covers marking out the anchor points for the wires, inserting blind rivet nuts, screwing in the pre-swaged wires and how to drill the correct hole positions in the intermediate posts.
The presentor, Jim Bennett, was a senior trade teacher for many years.
Jim includes useful DIY tips on drilling stainless steel tube, marking centre lines on round tube, using the Bralo Rivet Nut Tool, installing swivel connectors in their correct position, tensioning the wires and fitting post saddles, base plates and split grommets to stainless steel tube.
Jim also points out what not to do when installing stainless wires on a staircase.

Awesome video, explained very well. But as far as tension, in Southern California they are telling me it requires 300 lbs of pressure per wire. So ridiculous!
