Somewhere either on this review or on the page for the Taylor Mari, A Guide to BTS Members, I somehow saw a link to your explanation video of why you are not doing any more BTS reviews, which I doubt the vast majority of ARMY would find. I think it would be wise for public relations to click on the 3 vertical dots next to the 2 pinned, abrupt statements that "We are no longer doing BTS reactions. Please enjoy, but no need to subscribe for more BTS content." and EDIT them to include a brief statement such as " *due to ongoing and difficult copystrike issues* " , and perhaps a mention of the availability of your explanation video. Because as is, I didn't feel too kindly toward the message. As others have mentioned, I don't understand what has changed, since I've watched a multitude of reactors doing all sorts of BTS - related reviews, including mv's; RUN BTS; Bangtan Bombs; Accident, Faint and Falls; other Who Are BTS- type fan-made videos; and plenty of the current "IN" recommendation of Taylor Mari's video. Very occasionally, especially if not BIG HIT/HYBE/BANGTANTV, a reactor will pause more frequently than normal, or slightly *"change" the appearance of the videos* by adding a strip of text saying something like "bc of copyright" or slightly make it seem hazy, or add a few diagonal, not quite opaque lines across the video. I haven't seen anything like that on the many reactions to Taylor Mari's video, however, or other fan -made BTS compilations, etc. She has no connection to HYBE.

Bts has 3 rappers and 4 vocalists there all from south Korea and they started ad well hip hop group but gradually evolved and has 3 full English songs as well as korean songs mixed with English as well. There is one thing that you should know is that bts are well diverse and super versatile as well and have a wide range of genre's also.

Personally, I think it might be best to watch Taylor’s guide before songs like Mic Drop so they can have an understanding what the song is about and who it is aimed at and why. :) Several of their songs are like that.
Stanning BTS is the best decision I have ever made. They are the most humble people in spite of their popularity. If you keep on digging the rabbit hole ,you will be amazed by their existence in the music industry.
BTS has been a group for over 10 years (yes all 7 members are the original members) and they have over 300 songs covering various genres and subject matter. Dynamite was BTS first all English song that they released during the pandemic to cheer up people during that difficult time. It earned BTS their first Grammy nomination, their first number 1 song on the billboard hot 100 chart, and it became the most viewed video on youtube in 24 hours with 101.1 million views (Butter by BTS would end up breaking that record a year later). Right now the members of BTS are pursuing solo activities and albums because all 7 members of BTS will have to serve at least 18 months in the Korean military. Military service is mandatory for all able bodied men in South Korea. Right now 2 members are currently enlisted Jin who enlisted in December 2022 and J-Hope who enlisted in April 2023. But the plan is for the group to reunite in 2025 when their service is completed. 7 members of BTS (3 rappers and 4 vocalists) and debuted in 2013- BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan in Korean which means Bulletproof boy scouts in English. 62 yr old here. Never in my life have felt close to any group/individuals. I love all their incredible talents. These guys a humble, which makes them very lovable. I love their variety shows, getting to see their individual personalities.
BTS is amazing. They're a rap-heavy group who has a verrrryyy distinct sound - even if their songs sound so different from each other. They do so many different genres but since the members are involved a lot with their music, you really know it's them when you hear a song of theirs.
BTS have one of the biggest range in fan base, average age of their fans are 25-45 but they have fans in their 60s and 70s and a lot of them are male too. Dynamite isn’t the one I would of chosen for the first reaction, probably Black Swan or Fake Love or ON Kinetic Manifesto. This song was released as a feel good song in English for all fans during pandemic along with Butter and Permission to Dance. Korean bands are typically big some have 13 members.

if i'm not mistaken Dynamite is one of their first all english songs they wrote! it was released around the start of the pandemic and they wanted to lift spirits up with a song for others to help them feel better! 7 members is a low average number for Kpop. Several have more- 8, 9, 13 and more. We believe 7 is the perfect number for BTS! 💜 Each one is superstar on their own.
The guide by Taylor Mari called "A Guide to BTS : The Bangtan 7" is something most ARMY would recommend watching after you get a few more songs of theirs under your belts. While the video is quite long, there is a reason so many ARMY like it! It has proven to be one of the best intros to BTS made thus far, covering a brief history of the group along with snippets into each individual member. ARMY love watching long videos, so don't feel like you need to rush what you say in any reaction because we will listen! Dynamite was a happy go lucky song made during covid to cheer up fans, but many of their songs have such deep meanings and raw lyrics. Many people are shocked at the contrast from songs like Dynamite to songs of their many different genres and topics. I would recommend listening to songs like Mic Drop, Fake Love, Black Swan, and ON : Kinetic Manifesto Film ver. To get a good taste of their dancing ability, you could also watch the RUN BTS dance practice (not to be confused with their other song simply titled "Run" or their variety show Run BTS). Oh nooo I've always said their all English tracks like this one aren't really a good first impression of their music since those aren't written by them unlike their most common songs, but still appreciate you guys wanted to check them out! I know, I've said that too because BTS didn't write them but some people have said that listening to their English songs first eased them into the korean music easier. So I guess it all depends on the person listening. Wasn't Dynamite played on American radio too, which might be why they recognize the song. I don't listen to the radio much these days but I seem to recall my huband mentioning that it was being played on the radio and in stores alot.
I actually think that Dynamite is a good gateway track for BTS, especially since most reactors' first BTS video is not always that good (this one was fine though!).

I loved this reaction and I honestly hope for more reactions to them. I would recommend Black Swan by them for a song reaction, because it's very different from Dynamite and it might show you a different side to BTS. But also, if you want a little performance, the NPR Tiny desk concert with them is so much fun and shows off three songs from them including Dynamite and a song called Spring Day which ARMY refers to as the queen.
A good way to see them having fun and get a sampling of different songs is their 2021 Festa Room Live, which is a medley of b-sides from their albums. It's really fun and shows their diversity of music styles.

They have around 300 songs currently, and their discography has many types of genre. Hiphop, rnd, electronics, rock, jazz, funk, retro, ballad, and many other genres. It's so wide the range, that you could find at least a song you might like!
I’m 58 and literally grew up In the Michael Jackson era. These boys are unlike anything you’ve seen as far as in the human sense BEFORE even getting to what they can do musically. BTS are ALL about meaning, and their music has literarily saved lives. A.R.M.Y ranges from babies (no kidding) to 80+ yr olds from all professions and walks of life. It's now 90 + million strong and growing daily as more people discover them. As you can appreciate most are adults and not the stereotypical vapid teens as most think Army are. You will NOT regret looking into them further. For such a large fanbase we are generally very welcoming, fun and can be very protective of BTS, simple due to the fact that since day 1 they have had to FIGHT HARD to get to where they are at. But it only made them stronger and they became a true band of brothers who love each other and their fandom. I am listening to you talk about positivity and enjoying music with a deep message and some just feel good music sometimes. You were describing BTS music exactly so I was wondering if someone told you these things about BTS already. If you really enjoy meaningful music, hold on to your seats because you can’t imagine the deep dive you can do with BTS’s music. You couldn’t pick better role models for your children either. A fan can enjoy the music and performances on a surface level or dive as deep as you want to go. Many fans are learning about literature, art, Greek Mythology, Psychology Theories, Korean culture, language learning, donating to worthy causes, and donating time in their individual areas of skill or education. All of this activity learning because of BTS, what inspires their music, and the messages in the music. They also inspire us by how they share so much of theirselves and their life experiences. I am so glad my daughter introduced me to them at the beginning of 2020. You just heard one of their 3 English songs written to bring happiness to people during the pandemic. Always have your subtitles on as most of their songs have deep meanings & some link together. Also, just when you think their videos are over, they're not. Many reactors have cut off the end of videos & missed out. BTS have hundreds of songs. Their choreo & singing/rapping are always on point. You can watch their omw's, live concerts, their variety show-Run BTS(hilarious), awards shows(they steal the show!), they even each designed their own BT 21 character. They have Tiny Tan characters. My fave omv is Save Me. They cover so many genres you won't believe it. Some recommendations would be ON- KINETIC MANIFESTO FILM: COME PRIMA, Mic Drop, Festa 2021, so many. A cute one is Butter, but also watch the Butter Cooler remix & the Butter Hotter remix. All good, & remixes are funny. Run BTS from their Oct. 2022 Yet to Come Busan Concert. BTS consists of 3 rappers-RM, Suga & J-Hope & 4 singers-Jin, V Jimin & the youngest Jungkook. I have to admit I was never a rap person, but I am now!The way they sing/rap im English & Korean in the same song is amazing. Thanks for the reaction! I did enjoy it. This song brings up all kinds of emotions since I'm an older fan and have been through all genres and types of music in my lifetime. Makes me want to dance again. If you're looking for deep lyrics, you've found the right group. They're very deep thinkers and keep us (or at least me) on our toes. I learn something new about their songs every day. I think you'll enjoy Fake Love and Black Swan, but for more upbeat songs, they have those, too. 💜💜💜

These guys have only 3 fully English songs - Dynamite, Butter and Permission to Dance. Definitely have the CCs on for their other songs (well over 300 of them lol) and there are even explanation videos for some of them for the Korean cultural references and/or the very deep lyrics these guys tend to have. RNtv. Somewhere either on this review or on the page for the Taylor Mari, A Guide to BTS Members, I somehow saw a link to your explanation video of why you are not doing any more BTS reviews, which I doubt the vast majority of ARMY would find.
I think it would be wise for public relations to click on the 3 vertical dots next to the 2 pinned, abrupt statements that "We are no longer doing BTS reactions. Please enjoy, but no need to subscribe for more BTS content." and EDIT them to include a brief statement such as " *due to ongoing and difficult copystrike issues* " , and perhaps a mention of the availability of your explanation video.
Because as is, I didn't feel too kindly toward the message.
As others have mentioned, I don't understand what has changed, since I've watched a multitude of reactors doing all sorts of BTS - related reviews, including mv's; RUN BTS; Bangtan Bombs; Accident, Faint and Falls; other Who Are BTS- type fan-made videos; and plenty of the current "IN" recommendation of Taylor Mari's video.
Very occasionally, especially if not BIG HIT/HYBE/BANGTANTV, a reactor will pause more frequently than normal, or slightly *"change" the appearance of the videos* by adding a strip of text saying something like "bc of copyright"
or slightly make it seem hazy, or add a few diagonal, not quite opaque lines across the video.
I haven't seen anything like that on the many reactions to Taylor Mari's video, however, or other fan -made BTS compilations, etc. She has no connection to HYBE.
Bts fans called army have no limits I'm 32 and been an army since their pre debut days in 2013.

Bts has 3 rappers and 4 vocalists there all from south Korea and they started ad well hip hop group but gradually evolved and has 3 full English songs as well as korean songs mixed with English as well. There is one thing that you should know is that bts are well diverse and super versatile as well and have a wide range of genre's also.

Stanning BTS is the best decision I have ever made. They are the most humble people in spite of their popularity. If you keep on digging the rabbit hole ,you will be amazed by their existence in the music industry.
BTS has been a group for over 10 years (yes all 7 members are the original members) and they have over 300 songs covering various genres and subject matter. Dynamite was BTS first all English song that they released during the pandemic to cheer up people during that difficult time. It earned BTS their first Grammy nomination, their first number 1 song on the billboard hot 100 chart, and it became the most viewed video on youtube in 24 hours with 101.1 million views (Butter by BTS would end up breaking that record a year later). Right now the members of BTS are pursuing solo activities and albums because all 7 members of BTS will have to serve at least 18 months in the Korean military. Military service is mandatory for all able bodied men in South Korea. Right now 2 members are currently enlisted Jin who enlisted in December 2022 and J-Hope who enlisted in April 2023. But the plan is for the group to reunite in 2025 when their service is completed.
7 members of BTS (3 rappers and 4 vocalists) and debuted in 2013- BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan in Korean which means Bulletproof boy scouts in English.

BTS is amazing. They're a rap-heavy group who has a verrrryyy distinct sound - even if their songs sound so different from each other. They do so many different genres but since the members are involved a lot with their music, you really know it's them when you hear a song of theirs.
Dynamite was my first bts song too and it just brought this positivity and colours when I needed it the most. I still love this song after 2 years
BTS have one of the biggest range in fan base, average age of their fans are 25-45 but they have fans in their 60s and 70s and a lot of them are male too. Dynamite isn’t the one I would of chosen for the first reaction, probably Black Swan or Fake Love or ON Kinetic Manifesto. This song was released as a feel good song in English for all fans during pandemic along with Butter and Permission to Dance. Korean bands are typically big some have 13 members.
I haven't been this hooked on a band since the Beatles (I'm 67) and, like the Beatles, no two BTS songs are alike. Please don't limit yourselves to their all English songs. I hope to see more from you guys, you have a very positive vibe. 💜💜

The guide by Taylor Mari called "A Guide to BTS : The Bangtan 7" is something most ARMY would recommend watching after you get a few more songs of theirs under your belts. While the video is quite long, there is a reason so many ARMY like it! It has proven to be one of the best intros to BTS made thus far, covering a brief history of the group along with snippets into each individual member. ARMY love watching long videos, so don't feel like you need to rush what you say in any reaction because we will listen! Dynamite was a happy go lucky song made during covid to cheer up fans, but many of their songs have such deep meanings and raw lyrics. Many people are shocked at the contrast from songs like Dynamite to songs of their many different genres and topics. I would recommend listening to songs like Mic Drop, Fake Love, Black Swan, and ON : Kinetic Manifesto Film ver. To get a good taste of their dancing ability, you could also watch the RUN BTS dance practice (not to be confused with their other song simply titled "Run" or their variety show Run BTS). I know, I've said that too because BTS didn't write them but some people have said that listening to their English songs first eased them into the korean music easier. So I guess it all depends on the person listening. Wasn't Dynamite played on American radio too, which might be why they recognize the song. I don't listen to the radio much these days but I seem to recall my huband mentioning that it was being played on the radio and in stores alot.
I actually think that Dynamite is a good gateway track for BTS, especially since most reactors' first BTS video is not always that good (this one was fine though!).

I loved this reaction and I honestly hope for more reactions to them. I would recommend Black Swan by them for a song reaction, because it's very different from Dynamite and it might show you a different side to BTS. But also, if you want a little performance, the NPR Tiny desk concert with them is so much fun and shows off three songs from them including Dynamite and a song called Spring Day which ARMY refers to as the queen.
Every time I go to Walmart they are playing this. Yes, this 62 yr old woman get looks and smiles while jiving and singing along! 😅
A good way to see them having fun and get a sampling of different songs is their 2021 Festa Room Live, which is a medley of b-sides from their albums. It's really fun and shows their diversity of music styles.
Spring Day. The song, which bears the crown of "Queen of Charts", hitting the Melon Top 100 chart and never leaving it, was released in 2017, included in the BTS album "You Never Walk Alone" and became its title track.
Honestly, if you love music, and not just the vibes, but the lyrics too, and the work put into writing it, you'll definitely gain respect for bts, if not grow to love them even. Idk what kinds of music you like, but I'll just recommend what I can. Hiphop songs would be joke by RM of BTS, Arson by Jhope of BTS, Agust D by Agust D/Suga. You can try songs with a more rock vibe like dionysus by bts, more, or songs with a retro vibe like map of the soul:ego, or a song like disease by bts, or a song like home by bts, or a song like bulletproof pt.2. They have around 300 songs currently, and their discography has many types of genre. Hiphop, rnd, electronics, rock, jazz, funk, retro, ballad, and many other genres. It's so wide the range, that you could find at least a song you might like!

I’m 58 and literally grew up In the Michael Jackson era. These boys are unlike anything you’ve seen as far as in the human sense BEFORE even getting to what they can do musically. I had multiple things goin on in my life beating me down on a daily basis and my daughter said “Mom just please listen to this song (she had picked out one of their songs she thought would speak to me) it broke me…..there is SO MUCH to see, hear and love about this group…you will get chills in some cases…welcome to the rabbit hole💜💜💜💜💜

Welcome, welcome to the wonderful world of BTS! Hi from a 55 yr old UK Army, glad your boys got you to react to BTS. As others have mentioned, if you like meaningful lyrics look no further. BTS are ALL about meaning, and their music has literarily saved lives. A.R.M.Y ranges from babies (no kidding) to 80+ yr olds from all professions and walks of life. It's now 90 + million strong and growing daily as more people discover them. As you can appreciate most are adults and not the stereotypical vapid teens as most think Army are. You will NOT regret looking into them further. For such a large fanbase we are generally very welcoming, fun and can be very protective of BTS, simple due to the fact that since day 1 they have had to FIGHT HARD to get to where they are at. But it only made them stronger and they became a true band of brothers who love each other and their fandom. If you love a rags to riches, or stories of the triumph of the underdog then you're in the right place. Stick with them, and you'll find your life richer for it.

Always watch the MV's to the end! It might be a good idea to ask Army for links for the best performances..... some are not as good as others.
They also have various versions of their MV's and songs, from the official MV to remixes (B-sides done for Army, also excellent) and live performances. Dance videos for their choreography can be found at Bangtantv and behind the scenes videos. Just depends how far you want to go, there is a lot. The MV's have a storyline attached but that is better saved for a time when you might want to get to know the members more.
To avoid any copyright strikes just show the Big Hit/Hybe logo at the beginning of all their MV's.
NOTE: THE WORD NEGAE MEANS YOU/ME/I - not the word you think! Some misunderstand so best to get this out the way! Also Koreans or Asians in general are not afraid to show their emotions, so crying/hugging/being close is a cultural thing, which to Western eyes can seem a bit touchy feely or give wrong connotations.
Names: In South Korea and some Asian cultures the surname comes first, then the first name. So the group leader is RM (Real Me, used to be Rap Monster), whose real name is Kim (Surname) Namjoon (given name).
Age: They class an unborn child as 1 yr. old at birth, then at New Year’s add on another year. So for example Kim Taehyung (or V) was born Dec 30th 1995, so on 1st January 1996 he was 2 yrs. Old although in reality only a couple of days old! However this has now been changed (2023) to the same as International age. However, when watching their story bear in mind when they mention an age it’s usually 2 yrs. older than we would class it. So actually, 2 yrs. younger from our perspective.
As others have mentioned, a good start is their FESTA which is an annual celebration with Army. As they've just celebrated 10 years it might be appropriate! This

Thanks for your reaction! BTS had its beginnings being more hip hop... over time it diversified handling genres such as: R&B, Pop, EDM, Rock, Jazz
There are a rap sub unit within the group and a vocal sub unit where the rappers have few songs by themselves and the same with vocal line... But most of their songs as a complete group combines rap and vocals.
BTS has both fun songs to cheer us up and songs with messages of social criticism, mental health, politics, love, heartbreak, friendship, self-love, etc.

(the lyrics signify the desperation of staying in a relationship that no longer has any love and happiness left in it. With the song’s lyrics focusing on deception and angst, BTS essentially is trying to convey the message that it’s better to let go of a fake relationship that holds no value. It can affect individuals negatively, leading them to feel trapped, useless and powerless. The song also encourages individuals to understand themselves better and not pretend to be someone they’re not. This is my first time finding your channel. I am 62, a mom, a teacher and have been a dedicated ARMY for 7 years. I am listening to you talk about positivity and enjoying music with a deep message and some just feel good music sometimes. You were describing BTS music exactly so I was wondering if someone told you these things about BTS already. If you really enjoy meaningful music, hold on to your seats because you can’t imagine the deep dive you can do with BTS’s music. You couldn’t pick better role models for your children either. A fan can enjoy the music and performances on a surface level or dive as deep as you want to go. Many fans are learning about literature, art, Greek Mythology, Psychology Theories, Korean culture, language learning, donating to worthy causes, and donating time in their individual areas of skill or education. All of this activity learning because of BTS, what inspires their music, and the messages in the music. They also inspire us by how they share so much of theirselves and their life experiences. They are such humble, hardworking, funny, and caring young men. BTS and ARMY have shared a journey of trying to love ourselves and take care of our mental health too. I have lived through many of the great musical artists but have never experienced anything like the community and connection built by BTS.

OMGosh you like really deep lyrics, positive messages & things that put you in a positive mood? You have NO idea what you''ve been missing with BTS! The one thing I'm sure many others will have commented on is BTS is nothing like N'Sync or Backstreet Boys. These guys are on an entirely different level from any group you've ever known. Loved your reaction! BTS love their fans (called ARMY). These guys are ALL multi-talented, yet remain humble & caring. BTS ARMY are ALL ages, in our family alone age range is 4-89! I am so glad my daughter introduced me to them at the beginning of 2020. You just heard one of their 3 English songs written to bring happiness to people during the pandemic. Always have your subtitles on as most of their songs have deep meanings & some link together. Also, just when you think their videos are over, they're not. Many reactors have cut off the end of videos & missed out. BTS have hundreds of songs. Their choreo & singing/rapping are always on point. You can watch their omw's, live concerts, their variety show-Run BTS(hilarious), awards shows(they steal the show!), they even each designed their own BT 21 character. They have Tiny Tan characters.
My fave omv is Save Me. They cover so many genres you won't believe it. Some recommendations would be ON- KINETIC MANIFESTO FILM: COME PRIMA, Mic Drop, Festa 2021, so many. A cute one is Butter, but also watch the Butter Cooler remix & the Butter Hotter remix. All good, & remixes are funny. Run BTS from their Oct. 2022 Yet to Come Busan Concert. BTS consists of 3 rappers-RM, Suga & J-Hope & 4 singers-Jin, V Jimin & the youngest Jungkook. I have to admit I was never a rap person, but I am now!The way they sing/rap im English & Korean in the same song is amazing. Thanks for the reaction! I did enjoy it. This song brings up all kinds of emotions since I'm an older fan and have been through all genres and types of music in my lifetime. Makes me want to dance again. If you're looking for deep lyrics, you've found the right group. They're very deep thinkers and keep us (or at least me) on our toes. I learn something new about their songs every day. I think you'll enjoy Fake Love and Black Swan, but for more upbeat songs, they have those, too. 💜💜💜

These guys have only 3 fully English songs - Dynamite, Butter and Permission to Dance. Definitely have the CCs on for their other songs (well over 300 of them lol) and there are even explanation videos for some of them for the Korean cultural references and/or the very deep lyrics these guys tend to have. I saw some great suggestions in the comments so no need for me to write a book here 😂
