When it comes to BTS there’s so many attention to tiny details within the instrument that people don’t notice the first time. During live concerts they have a live band but that band prefers to stay hidden in the back of the stage. They are humble people who actually love each other like real brothers. Many interviewers after meeting them a couple of times can see that they are genuinely friends. Some people have caught them helping out the workers clean behind the scenes. There are clips of them getting sprain ankles but they still go up on stage and perform like it’s nothing. They even have to wear oxygen masks behind the stage for a couple of minute to get back up on stage. They sold out for Rose Bowl stadium for 2 whole nights. Their concerts are EPIC. No one can beat their CHARISMA when it comes to live stages. They are also hilarious jokester. It comes off as genuine compared to most artists. BTS is the only kpop group to still LIVE TOGETHER after 7 YEARS. All kpop groups, when they get successful they move out and live separately. Also, just because a song is dark doesn’t make it good. It’s very closed minded and a typical generic mindset. I know a lot of metal head channels who actually appreciate the brighter sides of music.

Metalhead here! It's a GREAT summer bop. It just shows they can do any style of music. This really takes you on a trail of Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars & even some Maroon 5. I can see why all the music producers & editors are excited about this song. BTS said to their ARMY that they wanted to make a song that would lift spirits. Bring some happiness to this time of Covid. I respect that. This song Gets heads a bopping and if you know it or not, you were bopping to the grove. You should check out the back ground videos on this group. Contributions to Music, Who is BTS, Nobodies to legends. It's a real come up story of 7 men who come from rock bottom, practicing 12 to 18 hours a day. Leaving every once of sweat on the stage. Because they sign with a company that was teetering on bankruptcy they came up hard. Some wild shit happened to these boys. Their producer had them kidnapped, so they would feel "real fear" and be able to write from a place of fear. Bigger agencies were having BTS cancelled from performances. Other groups made fun of them & called them the dirty spoons, which Suga writes about in Mic Drop. Also, because they were just boys & didn't have power or money fight back, they did the only thing they could, they put what was happening to them in their lyrics. Actually, in this case, autotune was used to create a more modern kick to a 70’s/disco/Jackson 5 vibe. The use of it is deliberate in creating a slightly more modern sound.

As someone who likes almost every genre of music and was a huge fan of alt rock and metal in high-school, I love watching your reactions. I consider myself ARMY but I find your honesty really refreshing even when I dont agree with it. The song is fun, catchy and US radio friendly. RM said in the interviews, they sang it for people to have fun, dance and feel better during this challenging times. Dont look for deeper serious meanings they said:) it must be a challenge to sing in a language that you are not very fluent. No matter how many records BTS breaks, they weren't getting through. The industry still wants to control but there were no excuses with this song. Wanna share another point of view, being a BTS's fan open the the door to various genres. It may start with the love for BTS but I bet a lot of fan (same as me) have learn to sincerely appreciate and love different kind of music that originally wasn't our 'cup of tea'. I agree with everything everyone else is saying and Tae is defo coming to wreck every armys bias and bias wreckers lists especially with that smile at the end, also my Jiminie i still cant get over him and that ‘finger bang’ he does he owns it, also the way he looks into the camera and stares into your soul and heart. Also ther dancing and vocals (especially the raplines as i wasnt expecting them to not rap at all) and attitude they give off is just perfect. Also for being their very first song fully in english just goes to show that they have improved alot (from what i have heard and read Korean is easier to learn than english). Also the fact that every Army right now is being biased wrecked by every member including their bias just goes to show how perfect and amazing these guys are and that they do such an amazing job with what they do as well
I always appreciate your honestly. Songs like this aren’t my thing at all either, from BTS or anyone, and I was pretty sure I wouldn’t like this (in the same way I pretend that Boy With Luv and Stay Gold don’t exist), but I’ll be damned if it didn’t pull me in. I think it’s the perfect song for these times-fun, upbeat, uplifting, infectious-and that’s just what BTS intended. It certainly isn’t a direction I want them to pursue going forward, since I much prefer their darker, deeper, rapline heavy songs, songs that take risks, but I’ll happily take this for what it is (and hope it’s only an occasional thing.)
It's good you guys inspite of been a metal fan appreciating them people from the west are very rational. Here in India also pop is the most popular genre they called it Indian pop still people are hating them for their looks toxic masculinity calling them feminine, cheesy and overdone MV so on.

Wanna share another point of view, being a BTS's fan open the the door to various genres. It may start with the love for BTS but I bet a lot of fan (same as me) have learn to sincerely appreciate and love different kind of music that originally wasn't our 'cup of tea'. As for me, I'm also into dark songs and I will always be but now I also can enjoy joyful upbeat songs, how lucky I am. Good music is good music. Thank you for your honest reaction.

You have to checkout House of Cards and The Truth Untold by BTS live. Their vocals are out of this world.
Love your honest reaction and appreciate you give them a chance even though this is not your style of music, you still get how good BTS is and what their music is all about. Before listening to rock music, I was into vocaloid and UTAITE. I'd say that modern kpop music sounds a lot like vocaloid, especially the beats. Dynamite kinda reminds me of Happy Synthesizer tbh 😆
1st time hear this song "ohhh BOY WITH LUV vibes" which in my personal opinion doesnt sound like a BTS song, but again Talk about the rangeeeee of their music, they really do every kind of genre. well they are very respect the diversity of people's preference and tried to still has their own color as a BTS, which is greaat i think. but they make this happy song for a gift for people who goin through hard times due to covid , so more like a happy , catchy and vibrant song. like the lyrics said " light it up like a dynamite" LOL.

I agree with everything everyone else is saying and Tae is defo coming to wreck every armys bias and bias wreckers lists especially with that smile at the end, also my Jiminie i still cant get over him and that ‘finger bang’ he does he owns it, also the way he looks into the camera and stares into your soul and heart. Also ther dancing and vocals (especially the raplines as i wasnt expecting them to not rap at all) and attitude they give off is just perfect. Also for being their very first song fully in english just goes to show that they have improved alot (from what i have heard and read Korean is easier to learn than english).
Also the fact that every Army right now is being biased wrecked by every member including their bias just goes to show how perfect and amazing these guys are and that they do such an amazing job with what they do as well

I always appreciate your honestly. Songs like this aren’t my thing at all either, from BTS or anyone, and I was pretty sure I wouldn’t like this (in the same way I pretend that Boy With Luv and Stay Gold don’t exist), but I’ll be damned if it didn’t pull me in. I think it’s the perfect song for these times-fun, upbeat, uplifting, infectious-and that’s just what BTS intended. It certainly isn’t a direction I want them to pursue going forward, since I much prefer their darker, deeper, rapline heavy songs, songs that take risks, but I’ll happily take this for what it is (and hope it’s only an occasional thing.)

It's good you guys inspite of been a metal fan appreciating them people from the west are very rational. Here in India also pop is the most popular genre they called it Indian pop still people are hating them for their looks toxic masculinity calling them feminine, cheesy and overdone MV so on.
