Glad Andrew 2 is ok after going in. Cutting the engine is the right thing to do. Always turn toward the side of the boat the person goes over on because it kicks the stern out and the prop away from the man overboard. Toss a flotation device immediately and have one person keep an eye on the person pointing to them the whole time. A Williamson turn is the best maneuver to return and pick up the man overboard. I’ve been out of the Navy and Submarine service since 1997 and I still know man overboard procedures. Of course with a submarine it’s a whole nother level. Love the vids.

Not to detract from the fine work of the shop you visited but to expand on the fact that you and your viewers can access and DIY a lot and Sailrite does outdoors and boating canvas AND educates how with a sewing machine you can do it too!
