My mate Tony and Luke embark on a camping adventure. We are rookies, the mistakes and mishaps we face brings on laughter and smiles around the campfires :)
Giddy Sonnie, I camped down there on Monday night and also cooked a hearty Asian meal, I think it was called Sui Min, your meal looked heaps better. Looks like you had a great time with a couple of good mates, cheers.
Hey Sonnie, that was awesome, really good to see the pin fishing well. i don't keep fish that often but you might want to look into brain spiking and bleeding your fish as soon as they come aboard, its worth it by a long shot 👍
Yeah I normally don’t keep mine either, I often keep them in the live tank but definitely agreed, brain spiking might be more humane compared to the old bleeding technique
Mate .. did you bring a whole kitchen out to the Pin?! What a spread! So cold the last few weeks .. you were keen to be camping just in a swag. Love the video, I'll be out there comes next summer.
Hahaha yeah bro it was cold alright! Hahaha I barely slept. And yes I practically brought a kitchen just to camp out one night! Hahaha… next time I’ll go lighter. We’ve been thinking of doing a yak one too similar to yours but hopefully not needing the help of Bear Grylls 😂
I like your vids mate but spike the fish when you catch them. Having them still alive in a plastic bag on the sand while they are slowly being filleted isn't good 👎
Yep cheers mate. Another viewer has mentioned this in another comment. I will look into it. Being so near to the water and keeping them in the live tank until we got back to camp indeed was too quick and fresh. Will definitely brain spike them in the future 👍
You're an absolute trooper Sonnie. All that meal preparation and cooking with only a headlight. Well done mate.
Hahaha gotta do what you gotta do!! Lol… next time i’d be cooking something simple :)

Awww… guess you would have known how cold it was too then! Hahaha..👌

@@sonniesfishingadventures exactly, not a huge issue though, so long as your out on the water and having fun its good cheers
Awesome vid mate, 42 mins and went quick. I reckon we went past you guys the other day. Best place on Earth!
Cheers mate… after vid gets past 30mins I start to get nervous. Sometimes there’s just too much to squeeze into a 30min vid :)
Looked like a great trip guys!
Damm that food looks good. Might give the fish soup a try at home
Add bean sprouts, coriander and elephant ears. I’m not joking thats what it’s called lol. Camp cooking gotta be a little more basic :)

@@sonniesfishingadventures I'd love it as long as it's not mac tuna. A longtail would be nice
