This was a great watch! You did an amazing job describing why the main character is the way she is, making her both a sympathetic figure and someone to be feared.
I’m looking forward to the next one!

I hope this was helpful and jogged your memory! I had forgotten how dark Holly Black had taken things with Wren, and all of the context around the choices she made! The Stolen Heir was such a great book.

@@SandrasLibrary I have not read anything from Holly Black, always thought that it was to YA, is it somehow at the same level with Shadow and Bone?

@@josephinecristo5038 They're both YA, but Holly Black is more of a modern, urban fantasy where there are two separate worlds-the known world of humans and the hidden world of the fae.
I prefer Black's YA writing over Bardugo's in Shadow & Bone. They have very different writing styles. Holly has an almost poetic whimsical-dark tone, and I think she explores slightly more adult themes than those in S&B. There are also more traditional folklore creatures seen in her books that aren't the "sexy" fae you see in stuff like SJM.
I think you should give her a try and see how you like it!
