i actually dont think maximus is a low intelligence, high luck build at all. i think all 3 of our main characters are relatively intelligent and that's part of the reason why we're following them. however, i will say that it's entirely possible that the writers _intended_ maximus to be dumb but failed; in the same way stupid people cant really write smart characters, i dont think smart people can write dumb characters, at least not in any convincing fashion. imo maximus is a little more than average intelligence but not terribly so. maximus clearly thinks a lot about the decisions he makes, it's just that his decisions are ill informed because he's been insulated inside the brotherhood of steel his whole life. also his decisions are partially directed by his emotional intelligence, which the reddit nerds seem to miss.

Nah his charisma and speech are low. People just say low Int to hate. All you have to do is think about the moments you get frustrated with him and youll see. You saw what happened when he was honest hours ago and he got burned. You can't blame him for protecting himself.

There are about 122 vaults, but the only ones I've ever seen connected were the ones in the show, 31, 32, and 33.
