Man captures video of over a dozen accidents, 'close calls' at Denver-Aurora intersection

- Crashes or near collisions have happened over a dozen times at an intersection on the border of Denver and Aurora, and a nearby resident is sharing video to prove it.
Could become with 4 way stop, or a traffic light. Seems like traffic on Yosemite is too fast.
Lot’s of luck getting Aurora to do anything about this problem! Having lived in Aurora for over 40 years it is a well known fact that Aurora doesn’t do any positive traffic management until several people are seriously injured of killed at this kind of intersection! Here’s an idea, put speed bumps in each roadway just to slow the vehicles down…or wake the drives up!
In more sophisticated parts of the country we have what we call ‘traffic lights’ installed in intersections like this

It all comes down to drivers not giving a shi#, ignoring the rule of the road. Being to distracted.

Easy fix cut the trees on all corners down put in speed bumps and lower the speed limits and put in a light

In New Zealand we have painted roads and road signs as well, give way is painted white and stop is painted yellow on the road. Makes it real clear

Traffics circles work and they are not as expensive as lights….with very little maintenance…..

The trees in his front yard prevent anybody going across the intersection to look left. Seems to be a problem.
This is my house, and I assure you that the trees are not blocking the line of sight. Directly off camera to the left are parked cars that are out much further from the trees. If anything, the parking area needs to start further away from the intersection.
@@ShihanQu Bro get in the car and make a video and see how far you can see. I’m telling you nobody can see past those trees. Trim your bushes. Remove them. The area below the tree that is trimmed is being blocked by the bushes growing up. I do landscape. It’s all over Denver. So many trees need to be trimmed at intersections. I’ve worked for three companies. Just do some trimming.

More planning and many meetings along with studies to include racial diversity,wildlife habitat and cultural sensitivity. About 25 years and we should have a handle on fixing the issue if the reports confirm any issues. Move along citizens.
