    This week I finally got to take the 4wd Jeep Cherokee XJ out to Hidden Falls Adventure Park and wheel a bit. Unfortunately we ran into a few snags and didn't get to wheel that hard but I hope you enjoy what footage I did get.
    I also want to give a huge shoutout to Battle Rattles Channel. He helped film and get the old tranny out of the rig. Check out his channel as he also posts some really cool off road adventures also.
    Next time we go out I guarantee we will get a lot better footage and hit some more gnarly trails. I ran into a bit of a transmission fluid leak on the way home but whats a little smoke on the road right? LOL If it catches on fire you better believe we will film it, post it, and build another rig!

    Very cool place....... wow.... It gives you all kinds of terrain to drive. Are you allowed to camp?

    • @FreedomCrawler
      @FreedomCrawler  8 лет назад

      Bill Turner It's got everything you could want and you can definitely camp. it's not the best park for rock crawling specifically but it's great for what it is.

    How did u do the removable doors?. I'm gonna do that tomorow. I have some ideas but wanna see how urs was done!. great videos!!

      +Eric Roberts I cut the pins out and then made my own pins using bolts. It took a bit of work but nothing difficult. The older models are easier I believe. You do have to mess with the wiring a bit more than a wrangler but it's not hard

    • @ericroberts6712
      @ericroberts6712 7 лет назад +1

      Jeep_ Noob did u take the doors off the hinge to cut the pins?. my problem is I can't take the door off the hinges because the bolts are striped out.

    • @FreedomCrawler
      @FreedomCrawler  7 лет назад +1

      Eric Roberts no, I used a dreamer to get in there and then once I cut it as far as I could in the gap I then finished it off with a hammer and screwdriver. Then I pried it out with a pry bar

    That's more my style of riding. Everyone here just wants to sling mud. What is the intended use of the trailer? For long off road camping adventures?

    • @FreedomCrawler
      @FreedomCrawler  8 лет назад

      +dalej99 Same here. I dislike mud with a passion. Rock crawling is where it's at

    • @FreedomCrawler
      @FreedomCrawler  8 лет назад

      dustin schaefer Its an axle from tractor supply. He went back the next day and swapped in a beefier one and towed it home

      Jeep_ Noob i would think about using an old rear axle out of something depending how beefy the ones from tractor supply are

      +Swager INC. Kirk* It's being built for over landing. It's enclosed with electricity and an axle twice as big now.
