Not the instrumental on VU, nor the live version recorded at The Gymnasium, this is an alternate studio take WITH VOCALS I found on the bootleg VU AFTERHOURS TAPE 9.

I suspect this is actually an alternate version recorded at the Gymnasium.
It's tempo & sound balance is similar to the commonly-circulated Gymnasium take. this might be the version John Cale played on WPIX-FM in 1979,

I'm thinking this is another live version, not a studio version. It is definitely not the Gymnasium version, as based on my recollection, Lou's vocal has different cadences and lyrics and the guitar has a mistake or two here. Very nice find, either way. It's a great song that should've gotten more love.
