Before we bring you Part Three of our Noosa Eat Drink Festival, our visit to the Matso’s Sunshine Coast Brewery was worth a share.
Located in Eumundi, about 35mins by car north-west of the Maroochydore airport and straight across the road from the Eumundi Markets, Matso’s Sunshine Coast opened it’s doors in late 2023. The original Matso's in Broome, Western Australia opened in the year 2000 as the owners took over a micro-brewery that doubled as a café and art gallery. Almost 25 years later they’re still going strong, and they are famous for being the first alcoholic Ginger Beer made in Australia.
Matso’s Sunshine Coast is open 7 days a week and you can stick around for live music on the weekends.
Overall Matso’s Sunshine Coast is very cool, very relaxed and has a very chill kinda vibe and it definitely goes into my top 10 places to visit when on the Sunny Coast. Whilst travelling for the Noosa Eat Drink Festival I’m so glad we got to see this place on the way.
