Ethan D I think the song is mostly about romance, which is common for the genre and what have I seen, but, again, the genre is mostly about translating your emotion into the instrumentals.

Oz Welcome :) You should listen their albums, but I can recomend the first song I've ever heard from them, "when the sun hits".
They did change, which is fine and completely normal. They aren't 18 anymore like when they wrote Souvlaki. Still, I really like this new album and I'm glad they're back. It still sounds like Slowdive and I think it's impressive they made this album after being gone for 20 years.

@@Thedisciplemike - well... it seems she has a mental breakdown. You can tell by her clothes and her inability to talk. She could also be on drugs but they tend to go together also. She had a relationship in the beginning, the dog in the beginning could symbolize a very loyal relationship... the ocean and beach being a passionate relationship that recedes with the tides and then she is left alone.
@@Thedisciplemike Well, they are together, then she goes home and feels strong feels, takes a shower, and she clearly is having strong emotions but we don't know of what variety. When you have a relationship that strong, who knows what emotions you are feeling. For all we know, he could have been visiting. She could have been having memories of her dead boyfriend. Either way, something was clearly making her feel strong and on edge and it set her off at the store at the end.
