Liked, I often wondered why my cars had zero turning and were less responsive. Just changed these settings and i have to say, its such a different feel.
That "Highest" setting got rid of that floaty, detached feeling that I didn't care for. Drives more like NFS Unbound now, which is good. Thx.
The setting itself is titled "Highest" as in how far do you have to move the thumbstick to get to the highest steering input . You'll see it. @@SunBroJohnny

Honestly I've won like 10 grand races, one of them being my 2nd. The first one I hit a bridge and caught back to 3rd. Anyway I've always ran TCS and ESC completely off the entire time. Its not too difficult but some vehicles do really punish you.
The reason you would want in on is it effects your launching start keeping you from burning out at the start of race, which is extremely noticeable when the AI always perfect start bolting off without you.

Literally saved the game for me. I play gt7 on ps5 and horizon on XSX I was in desperate need in a full arcade racer and was about to give up after 15 hours of this game… until I found this vid!

5:16 these steering settings helped me out so much. Difficulty at 4/5. Only assist I use is the breaking line and abs is on. I had a hard time with touge spirit(made in japan playlist). After I uses these steering settings took me 3 tries and I got it

Steering setup. If you want to handling to feel like a car.
What does it feel like otherwise?
I know im a bit weird for using my directional keypad, but it gives me way more control. I also use my dual sense edge as paddle shifters so theres that. My wife is stuck on how i can do so many things at once, but aside from that, i still struggled because it felt as though my car reacted after the input. I followed your simple steps and it give the same feel as NFS HP2 (classic). Thanks, man.
not only weird....but awesome, cus how do u even use the directional buttons 😭💀 i haven't tried it, but i can js picture how weird n clunky it might feel to me. that's cool tho, 1st time i ever heard of anybody playin a racing game usin the directional buttons

the steering input lag is because the engine has built-in deadzone for the steering. with all deadzone settings turned off there's still deadzone at around 15% after you started moving the stick. only a patch can actually correct this problem. TC2 let you have actual zero deadzone for steering in the settings. this deadzone ruins an otherwise much more refined physics

Yeah the button mapping was a big plus for me I'm running the horizon 5 manual setup and it's working wonders
@@DrewHolli still can't play with clutch like in forza tho... tbh there is a lot of things about FH5 that i don't like or even hate (like the map) but god there are things i miss

Is there any way you can lower the cars suspension?
Not sure about the ride height, but you can decrease the suspension travel by making them stiffer in pro settings.
You can remap buttons ingame
Motorfest supports dualsense without and aditional software :)

Base camera is the one I use tbh sometimes hood view but rarely and I have it dynamic

Ive been looking around, ive recently been playing motor fest but dammit the steering just feels so awkward i like how the weight is transfered but, the steering is just so delayed. I hope this helps.
Ive been tweaking with my setting constantly but i just fucking hate this handling. I fucking suck at this game. Summits i never finish a race 20th plave every race man😭. Car x physics are soooo much better
the fact that you think carx is better is the reason you are placed 20th every races :') sorry but it's a skill issue in your case, tbf you should not force yourself to play a game you don't enjoy, i'm just saying this cuz always blaming the game you play is not really a good thing

new to the game here, i’m confused why do great players disable ESP and TCS and drive manual mode, while they’re meant to make driving easier. Does this way make driving more difficult but makes you faster in some sort?
Driving manual adds a lot more realism and makes the game more fun. Auto also redline and slides often so it might give a competitive advantage
In settings turn off cockpit animation,it looks rowards the bends which i find a makes the steering feel a little weird
Does it apply the "animation" to the outside pov as well ? if yes then another thing that don't make sens in this game ... nice

Massive deadzone for me even if set to 0! Im on series X,cant be the only one having this issue? Makes the game almost unplayable
My best guess: controller issue, i replaced mine yesterday and god it's so much better now.

Wheel is better… controller obviously takes less skill in a way so more or less the driver is the deciding factor as with any build settings anything…
I bought the game and the wheel the next day 😂 and bee im trying to get used to both. Once u get the settings down controller is too easy but the more im learning to use the wheel the more im hooked
@@MxgicIQthank you, I’ve been playing the free trail of motorfest on controller and even after trying the new controller settings , I kept telling myself to just play unbound , my initial impression of motorfest wasn’t great , graphics are good just the gameplay and handling lacks imo
Unbound is way more fast paced in a good way

put it on sport in this game cuz when it’s completely off u become a lot slower especially on launches
