My condolences to you. May God give you the Solace that you need. I know the feeling all too well. My mother went to be with her Heavenly Father on July of 2019. My heart is broken and I am going through some depression. So I know exactly how you feel.

This is awesome food. I use to live in Lubbock Texas and my roommate Sylvia Munoz and her mom and sister would come over on Sundays and cook this plus many other delicious dishes. Watching this video has brought back alot of fond memories. I unfortunately lost my mom this past June. Seeing and listening to you talk about your dad stirred alot of emotions for me. I lost my mother 2 months ago, and while she didn't cook this dish it does remind me of her famous meatloaf that I would beg her to cook on my birthday when I was growing up. While she wasn't the greatest cook, she always cooked with love for sure, and that's an ingredient you can't buy in a shaker. Thanks for sharing that little slide show, as it reminds us that it doesn't matter what your cooking really, it's all about getting together with your friends and loved ones and sharing memories!

Looks great. I have some homemade Chicken Stock simmering on my stove right now, some shredded Rotisserie Chicken in my refrigerator, and some Fideo in my cupboard. My grandkids love fideo..they wouldn't mind eating it daily 💜 to mix up the dish I add 2 ladles full of frijoles straight from the pot.
