Bullying will never be okay, kahit ano pang reason kung ba't naging bully ka, the act will never be okay. I had to realize that for myself before saying something.
The viral video made us all angry and furious, it's normal. Pero it should also make us reflect that we should do our part to not be like the bully, but to be the change we want to see, speak life, be kind, don't let our anger turn us into what we are fighting against. Thank you for not mentioning the school that I attend, although most people know which school it is, I thank you for actually trying to not mention.
We all feel ashamed for the actions we committed. We all saw these actions as a joke rather than considering one's feelings; This is just me apologising for my peers action, they may not have the guts to say sorry but I know the time will come when they apologise

To the defense of bystanders,
They want to stop the bad deed, but the primal instinct of fight/flight/freeze response always kick into them, cause them to freeze.
A good video to watch is VSauce's "Mind Field" Season 1 Episode 1, where they have a social experiment diving into the freeze response while preventing the long term effects of regret over their actions.
To the minority who fights, so to speak, I commend you for your valiant actions.

Sabi ng teacher namin noong grade 9 ako "pag nabully ka dala mo na yan hanggang sa pag tanda" sabi niya sakin yun kasi syempre ako mataba at mature ang itsura kaya napag tritripan. Nagsorry naman yung ibang nambully sakin at sabi ko "okay lang" sabi ko yan last 4 years ago. Tapos ngayon bitbit ko pa din yung sakit tapos iniisip ko bat ko sinabing "ok lang"?. I already forgive them but I can't forget the memories..
I admit, I'm also a bully.. Bully ako sa kaibigan ko.. I have this mindset na once na pinag tripan kita ibig sabihin isa ka sa pinagkakatiwalaan kong kaibigan coz I'm not so extrovert. I am your bully but also I can be your friend. Thats my mindset. After ng nabully ako.

Na bully din ako nung 2017 di ko maintindihan? Bakit ako yung pinapili na umalis sa school? I’m the victim. I’m just seeking for help that time. And parang ako pa lumabas na masama?. Hahahaha verbal & social bullying. Hindi ko alam kung icoconsider kong physical bullying yung iba pa nilang ginawa? Hanggang ngayon dala dala ko parin yung sama ng loob and trauma.
For me, it's the right decision to leave, dahil pag nanatili ka don. The act will still continue, they will bully you through physical, social or verbal. So ngayon, i think that is a sign na sila ung insecure, pero it will make u stronger. And let them realize what they've done to you. But don't change yourself because of that, don't change because they hurt u and all that. If you're cheerful, stay cheerful and don't mind them. But if malala na talaga u need to tell someone, don't let that pull u down and Pray lang po. Godblesss ❣

As someone who participates in Taekwondo, I was deeply angered and disgusted with what the child did. Sabi ng coach namin na Taekwondo (or any martial art) is used for DEFENSE not for offense. I'm only thirteen and a soon-to-be yellow belt who will be in her promotion test soon (so white belt palang ako lol), pero hindi ibig sabihin na hindi ako pwede mag-speak up tungkol dito. Malakas ako into stuff like punching etc despite me being white belt, but whatever happens, I will never in my life use it to hurt others simply because I want to.

nagalit ako, pero nag-worry din ako kung paano na yung batang bully kung ni-reject na cya ng school, taekwondo association, community (on line & off line), etc,
at nag-worry din ako sa kung anong klaseng mga kabataan ang napo-produce ng mga magulang (gaya ko).. sana ma-guide tayo lahat ng Holy Spirit kasi malaking responsibility ang pagpapalaki gn kids =)

I am also insecure and weak, who's also pretending to be strong at all times. sabi mo nga hate the sin, not the sinner. nasabi ko sa sarili ko na, oo nga no. di ko namamalayan na unti unti akong na cocorrupt ng galit ko sa mga taong may nakagawa ng mali saken. tama ka, sobrang hirap talagang magpatawad. I hope someday, mapatawad ko na at matanggap ko na lahat kasi ayoko na ng ganito. lagi ko sinasabi na masaya ako, tumatawa ako pero deep inside I'll never be truly and genuine happy hangga't may dala dala akong galit. I am always praying for god to help me. naiyak ako dito sa video nato. it hit me hard. salamat kuya jik!!

But kidding aside, because of bullying I developed an eating disorder. Sobrang taba ko kasi noon. I was able to lose weight nang dahil sa pang aasar nila pero kahit na ganoon. I never felt beautiful. I always felt like Im fat. Nahirapan ako maka get on track. Ngayon medyo umokay na ang timbang ko but still there are times that I wont eat for three days dahil lang sa salitang "medyo tumaba ka." Pumapasok kasi agad sa utak ko yung mga pangangasar sa akin. Bigla kong naiisip na sobrang pangit ako. Na I need to be very skinny just be acceptef at para di na maasar.
Its very hard. I just want to love myself but I kept on hating myself because of my weight.

Same experience po. When i was a kid, sobrang taba ko talaga and now umo-kay na po yung timbang ko and everyone is complementing me. But nung nakita nila ako ngayon they were like, “medyo tumaba ka.” “Hala maintain mo yung dati mong katawan!” Sinasabi ko sa sarili ko na okay lang yun, love yourself kasi yun ang natutunan ko sa group na iniidolo ko. But when i am saying na love yourself hindi parin talaga natatanggal yung pressure ng society saakin. It feels like sila yung nag cocontrol saakin and kailangan kong mag fit sa standards nila para hindi ma criticize. Alam ko na mali yun that’s why i’m keeping a positive mind step by step po.
I just hope na titigil na lahat sa pang bubully hindi lang in physical way but in all ways.

Hiling ko nalang sana sa mga bully na maging mature sila. Matulungan sana sila para malaman nila na ang ginawa o ginagawa nila sa mga biktima nila ay nakakasakit, nagleleave ng wound physically and mentally at kapag narealize na nila at marunong na sila magself-check sa actions nila, to ask forgiveness and be a better person not only to the victim, but to the society.
the main problem in this world is actually not violence but apathy, there were other students in the vid that could've prevented the act from happening but they choose not to get involved and some doesn't even give a damn. but anyways love you man.. namsayn?
