  • Drosera schizandra is a rare sundew endemic to the rainforests of Far North Queensland. The species grows on embankments and creek lines in the Bartle Frere and Bellenden Ker mountain range. These habitats have a comparatively sparse canopy from the steep slope and open creek so can receive some dappled filtered sunlight. At other times, the ground is plunged into deep shade.
