Very nice. The weather and temps look great for us. Those glaciers are big. Nice drone footage. The milky water from the grinding of the sediment under the glacier is pretty neat. Wow, that water fall is huge and raging. So much water. K and I are like you two, we cram as much into a day as time allows. Fun trip so far. Have a great day.

We were so lucky with the weather even for Alaska in the summer it was quite warm. Cris was mad she didn’t get to wear her cute jackets as much as she wanted. 😂
Alaska is definitely one of the frontiers that I am desperate to visit! Such powerful and Majestic landscapes , like that waterfall is just looked so incredibly powerful, imagine standing beneath that one!
Alaska is nature’s gift to earth! What a stunning landscape. It’s still on my top of bucket list. The weather seems perfect for the outdoor. Your drone footage is top notch. The waterfall is absolutely breathtaking. This is the second waterfall (after CA one) I am seeing directly fall into the ocean. It’s stunning. The color of water is so beautiful. As a Juneauite I got downright dizzy from your video editing, especially the drive from downtown Juneau out to the glacier. The video would almost arrive at the glacier and then bounce back to downtown........and then be half way there and then bounce all around out of sequence to the drive. I know the roadside scenery well, but your video made me feel like a drunken time traveler! Nice photography though.
It’s funny when you know an area well, you can tell when they’ve edited the order of things. We live in Las Vegas and always laugh at what hotels they put next to each other in movies. thanks for the comment and have a great day

You and your bride are the type of tourists we get here in Juneau that we hope they miss their cruise ship and settle down here. Next time......take the ferry from Bellingham and get to know the locals onboard with you.
@@TooMuchLuggage When we lived in Oregon we once took a trip by BC ferries from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert. From there we drove on up to Stewart, BC/Hyder, AK. That trip helped me to convince my wife to agree to moving here. have a great day.....sunny and a balmy 34 degrees (above zero) here today.
We are going on this cruise in June. My mom has cancer and need s scooter. Can you please tell me if there would be room on the shuttle for her scooter and if the trails are scooter friendly?
I don’t remember specifically if the shuttles were ADA compliant, but they should be. As far as the hike to the waterfall it’s a fairly flat and path, but is not paved. There were some muddy patches on the trail that could be a problem for a power chair. The path up to the visitor center is paved if I remember correctly. Hope this helps you plan your trip
I am no expert but try to follow rules, and Regulations when using my drone. I believe Mendenhall glacier was in a national forest or a state park and according to DJI it is a good flight zone.

Going to Alaska by land is on our list of trips to do. Can’t wait till we have a month or more for it.

The cruise line is ok with you having it with you on the ship too.
How much it costs per person for the excursion?
We booked it once we got off the boat and it was $45 per person for the bus.
