@@johnwong1194 HI! QQ is really strong, the only problem is her RNG. If you have E6 then her problem is solved otherwise pull for Sparkle. DMG wise QQ is comparatively stronger but still Xuyei have her perks like she can break any toughness, has a really good break dmg.
Hello, so I am wondering if she would work for my team. My team is Clara Links March and then I just need a DPS. Would she work as a DPS?
A cool synergy she has with Tingyun is that since Xueyi's A2 DMG bonus applies to all elements rather than just quantum, the additional attacks from Tingyun's skill and talent actually do noticeable damage, as they scale off the DPS' stats rather than Tingyun's

As a guy who missed Blade’s release I’m glad to finally have him now! Hoping the fact that I now have him and Ruan Mei doesn’t mean I’m screwed when I pull for Kafka 🙂

@@DG_Toti if you want a good lighting dps you can skip Kafka and save for Mei(Acheron), I'm sure she is gonna be pretty good since her counterparts in HI3 is Raiden Mei and in Genshing is Raiden Shogun, so she is gonna be at least top 3 dps when she comes out.

who else started watching a lot of creators guides and info on Xueyi looking for anything about how good she is with himeko in some way cuz they love himeko so much despite what the devs did to her kit... himeko mains.. keep your head held high. Our time will come. surely

@@danielsirbu6706 yea but I still run her with another dps even with Mei cuz sadly end game requires more dmg. And the fact xueyi can fill that roll with a universal way to break any element seems nice
@kennynewton9299 I think using Himeko with Xueyi and Ruan Mei is probably good synergy. Of course the rough part being you gotta really invest in both Himeko and Xueyi just to deal as much damage as some other hyper carry units. More eidolons on Xueyi will certainly help.
Honestly Xueyi and himeko are very weakness content dependent. Which isnt a bad thing at all, just means that when we do get a quantum+fire weak boss/enemy spawning from a boss they could be a great potential pairing.
@@MercyPeachMayvin Xueyi is so fun imo it’s so worth it, my mid built Xueyi with Topaz, Ruan Mei, Fu Xuan did like 600k in Gold and Gears with her follow up attack, and she’s not even E1🤣💪🔥🔥🔥🔥

I just got her to E4 now, and pulled Blade. So I'm going to be stuck in the destruction calyx for a while. A good thing about Xueyi is that her unique scalings make her more likely to utilize otherwise discarded relics. I had a bunch of Genius pieces with double crit that had rolled mostly break effect that she'll put to good use! It's also very nice to get good use out of those DPS oriented ATK orbs that are just gathering dust in my inventory.
She can be tricky to build, but for a 4 star, we have seldom seen this kind of damage ceiling. She hits INCREDIBLY hard.
Mine actually doesn’t hit so high. I think the issue might be the Quantum Orb rather then ATK orb and the crit dmg being low at 75%
I got 160% BE, 2k ATK, she’s also E6 so another 40% from ult and 20% from Ruan Mei.
LC is Aeon.
I think I’ve hit the diminishing return threshold with too much %dmg for little atk.
@@CrizDig02K ATK is too low for the amount of DMG% you get from her stats
@@ariesoviko8475 I know, I got a very good Quantum Orb with good substats so I’m using it, no luck on atk orbs so far and I don’t want to use resin on it.

Man, I love Xueyi. I know she’s not the best, and I even got better 5star dps, but her design is so cute and she is so fun to play! I’m building her to put her on a team with another one of my favs, Yukong.

Trying to do a double dps team comp
With Xueyi, Ruan Mei, and Sushang..
But i will have to pull for either Fuxuan or Luocha.. i need a sustain that is SP positive for this team..
The trick is since Xueyi breaks easily with her ult and Ruan Mei buff, she do the dmg before the breaking..
Sushang will utilize the breaks from Xueyi..
Quantum breaks = Delay = Sushang passive proc
Ruan Mei ult = More Delay = More Sushang passive proc..
@@GReyn omg! Same! I’ve been trying different teams with Xueyi and Ruan Mei together, and so far I’ve loved their synergy!
@@pablomatz6273 right.. and not to mention Xueyi Ult deals more dmg based on how much toughness bar is broken.. so the synergy is off the chart..
Tho the problem is Ruan Mei Delay action ult..
That's why I'm thinking of using sushang cuz weakness break state is her stronger point..

Always love your guides Sevy, they are clear & very informative with pros & cons. Before I am not interested to build her but since I tried her in one of challenge modes and with the arrival of harmony MC, I have to min max her asap for memory of Chaos and the like.

Her break potential is crazy specially with E2 hopefully I can get more of her copies. At first I wasn't interested in her but when I got her and read her kit I found it very interesting. I have little interest on Seele and Qinque though I have them and I know they're great units. So my Quantum DPS slot is pretty much empty. When I realized how fun and unique she is I'm intending her to be my main Quantum DPS now. 😊
Good to know I have options for planar sets, and I don't have to stick to fighting Cocolia to get Talia's relics every time.
Also, thank you for including a section about auto-battle behavior! This is especially useful since I imagine a lot of us auto-battle for trace mat, boss mat, and relic farming.
I'm always glad to see Sevy's guides. She even mentioned the trade-off regarding using Xueyi with Ruan Mei, a thing that other guides unfortunately didn't even mention. But oh well, at least now I have an excuse to farm the Quantum relics... Ouch

I finally got xueyi today after hopelessly spending single pulls as soon as I got 160 jades😅 but now that I have a single copy of her in still gonna keep pulling hoping I get more copies! I would have way more copies if it weren't for the game giving me basically off banner characters or just tingyun. At least now my tingyun is E6!
I got her and Silver Wolf at the same time and built a mono quantum team with xingque and lynx and that’s one of my default teams to clear content now while I work towards getting to endgame. I love that squad 🤩
Managed to E6 her, and I was impressed with how well she handled MOC 12! Pairing her with Ruan Mei cost me multiple retries on MOC 11, however (had to slot in Topaz instead). Truly a double-edged synergy!
Congrats! I pulled two Ruan Mei, one Clara, and one Himeko before I got my FIRST Xueyi. I think I have E14 Tingyun now.
I haven't finished building her, but she's pretty well laid out and... I know they're not replacing eachother 1:1 but I really don't think I'll ever get Seele when her banner comes back, Xuei is that good.
She's so great used with Ruan and Topaz, makes SU so fun!
Planning to do mono quantum with her!! I'm slowly building her and plan on getting her the herta light cone (tho that's a few weeks away, because I only have 3 herta bond things, and unless they drop new worlds soon, it'll be slow going....)
Been loving this character so much. Just got her to e3 and my gosh, she's a heavy hitter for sure. Saved my team's bacon a ton, especially with her ultimate and follow up attacks. Have to remodify her build tho since I didn't have good enough optimization for her crit dmg and crit rate and break effect.
Thanks to pure fiction tho, I can get a better test result for her and other characters when I test their dmg output. Xueyi is my most favorite quantum unit atm, especially since she feels more like a 5 star instead of 4 star. So fun.
I've been planning to use Xueyi in a dual carry team comp with Dr. Ratio, Hanya and Fu Xuan. I've tested for quite some time with other sp hungry hunt characters. And it actually works but also a very tricky to maintain. With Hanya in the team the sp management becomes easier but crowd control and debuffs from the enemies can ruin rotations. My Fu Xuan is not Max yet so her final ascension ability is still unlock, I do hope this will solved the issue.

she is great for mono quantum, specifically with silverwolf for those enemies that dont have a quantum weakness. I missed Seele on both of her banners so I will have to wait for her to finish my team but I think it will be a great composition

shi nya, its no different but scronkly-ing the shields of weekly bosses and MoC bosses in less than 3 turns is a breath of fresh air since Kindergarten
Not sure when I'll get around to actually building her, but it's nice to see a 4* in a Hoyo game that is actually a strong DPS. Hope we see more of that not only for variety's sake, but for newer / F2P players to get some other DPS options other than the 5 stars.
qinqque is very good as well, arguably better, people get underwhelmed on paper and don't realise her play style.
Glad you pointed to some decent non-Herta Shop LCs since I'm not pulling On the Fall of an Aeon off my Jingliu. Luckily I have Under the Blue Sky at S4. And it is sooooooo cute! Wish there was a good bond interaction if her and Hanya are in the group together.
Hey Sevy, have you considered doing a look at some of the older release characters if there is some re-optimization that can be done since we have new relics? Even if it comes out as no change from your initial guide.
I liked her even before she was playable yet she ages like wine, my mono quantum team shines so much with how every other unit helps her anyways in such a scenario
This character outperforms my blade and is so versatile as a monoquantum hypercarry. I use her with sw, ruan mei, and gepard for all SU and she doesnt have any boss she is weak against.
I think the only place she is outperformed is MOC, but that is only because versaitility is less needed.
Not sure about anyone else but when using Ruan Mei w/ xueyi against bosses l use RMs ult when they're above 50% toughness, and hold off if they're below (skill only) to prevent RMs breakness delay so that Xueyi can continue to build stacks. You don't have to commit RMs ult when it's up.
Alternatively, if you're in desperate need of a quick heal or sp generation and the enemy is almost broken, you can use RMs ult there for a little breathing room, though this depends on your other 2 characters.
I wanted to pull blade but ended up with e5 xiyue. She's very good though
I returned to the game this week and got her E2, but I got Blade and Mei as a F2P.
I think E2 is enough to build her into a quantum team with SW and Seele.

I want E6 Xueyi so bad, but I have gotten so unlucky. I got the featured 5 star and Welt before I even got Xueyi's E2 :'( and now I am out of pulls. Welt and the featured 5 star are really nice and even pair well together, but I want E6 Xueyi!
what did your statline for her look like as of this video's recording? i think i've gotten most of it down [other than having consistently good substats] but feels like something's missing bc she doesn't do any real damage for me
She is cracked in gold and gears with erudition splashed with follow-up damage.
i'm using Xueyi with topaz, welt(future ratio) and huohuo/lynx/nat (depends of the resist) and boy it's fun... sometimes i switch the welt with silverwolf and boy this team hits hard and a lot...
Can she be used for Mono quantum team with Seele, SW, Lynx and Xueyi? Is it actually good?

Only managed to get her to E4, but she performed well in MoC even though her build is not the greatest. She's so cool.
I just used her on the swarm (I lost when she died on the final boss) and she is an absolute unit
For her E4, does the Break boost start after her Ultimate’s cast, or does the Ultimate also use the elevated BE?
If you Ult the bonus is applied before it hits the enemy
So what’s the goal for Break Effect 200%? (With Ruan Mei on the team) are you/we trying to get that 240% goal? and also why Attack Orb over Quantum. Isn’t raw damage better than attack?

Since she's a Destruction character i would generally put some HP main for her build because her dmg also scales by her break effect. Also i dont want her to be that squishy since her aggro value is high
Yea she is fun. Only get her to E2 but hopefully she will be on part 2 banners (first time a new unit is on first part so not sure).
She isnt. Part 2 has dr ratio banner with Sushang, Natasha and Hook

i got her at E6 while wishing for Ruan Mei so I want to build her now, she is my only quantum dps too (no Seele)
I could only put an Attack rope because it had Crit stacks. I know it’s not optimal but I have E6 Xueyi so it should be fine.
I finally done lvl up everything on Ruan Mei and okay-ish set on her. Now all my resources going to dump on Xueyi. 😅 Need to take a break from pulling. But hopefully I'll get Sparkle.

Building her now, the stars aligned for it.
I pulled her on a previous banner (just one). Someone in my roster has to use this theis set 😅. I had so many pieces getting a 4 piece was pretty easy, just made a gold crit chest and done. I even hit the 50+ crit rate for my relics, which as much as I farm for crit none of my other characters manage to do it.
She's got great animations, the basic is pretty sweet even and she's fun to play. When she's on the next banner I have to get her to E6
I don't even have most of her bonus trades activated for more.
All this mean is that with my luck it will be a solid year before she makes an appearance on someone's banner
You will get her for free in the upcoming new endgame mode.
I try a lot of mix match set with RM/SW/FX team on moc 12 pt1 surprisingly salsato set with atk rope it's the only one that finish at turn 26 while the other set end at turn 25
I’ve done about 100 wishes and only have E0 Xueyi for now 😭 I also wanted to stop pulling before getting the 5 star to pull for Sparkle but got early Ruan Mei at 60 pity 😭 Don’t know if that’s unfortunate or lucky af
