There are buttons on the front of the throttle that set the aircraft into a "TAKE OFF/ GO AROUND" stage. The autothrottle automatically engages the throttles to the best engine power for take off once those buttons are pressed.
Great video, have a question however. Why did the co-pilot call of 80 knots, I usually always see most first officers or pilots say 100 knots and after a few minutes rotate? Why is it 80 in this video?
In a Boeing aircraft, the pilot not flying (in this case the first officer) calls out "80 (knots)". In an Airbus aircraft the pilot not flying calls out "100 (knots)". So there is a difference between Airbus and Boeing during takeoff.
Nico Fenzl ah i see do you know why that is the case? Since the boeing 747 and airbus a350 lets say for example are the same weight? Or do they do this just to do differentiate themselves as different companies?
Esse avião é pra mim, entre os de transporte,o mais bonito....
Ver esse gigante de aço sair do chão é incrível!!!
