The "They don't let you use 2 vocaloids in some songs with 2 slots." problem stems from the difference between "Singer" slots and "Sub-Outfit" slots. "Subs" depend on "Singers" (e.g. if Miku is chosen as Singer, only Miku can be chosen as a Sub). Kinda makes me wish they just got rid of this altogether, because the only advantage is nothing. Feel free to change my mind.
Guests are modules that arent singing the song, you chan choose whatever u want on guest module but not on suboutfit. For example is u use miku module as main outfit at two faced lovers, the sub outfit need to be miku too

I dont know the latency sorry lol but I typically like vocaloids based by their songs not by them as a character. And since Miku and Rin has like the most songs I usually prefer them, Len too.
I can only play on hard, and I literally can't get 30s into that last song. This song, pause continue, the annoying beach song, and the skeleton dancing song. The only songs I've never beaten.
i feel like im the only one who finds playing with the joycons (seperated) comfortable... and yes ive played future tone with the dualshock 4 so i know how both feel, i guess its cause i have baby hands and it fits nicely idk

Mega Mix is my first project diva game, and I never new that the PS4 controller was SO much easier than in hand held (I own a switch lite) wish we had a PlayStation back then. We have one now so maybe I could get Future Tone? Idk
the fact that the NS version has custom symbols for the switch controller is great for new players, but for people like me who started with Megamix and went back to play F 2nd, it's pretty difficult to adjust.
Some people say that handheld mode is the hardest mode? Tbh I thought it might be the easiest because just like on mobile rhythm games, you could just sit down and set it in front of you instead of holding it🤔 I have no experience with the switch though so I wouldn’t know; I only have Future Tone and as a rhythm game player who got used to and could full combo Master difficulty mobile game songs, the transition to button mashing was PAINFULLY humbling. I felt like such a loser not being able to even clear Hard difficulty songs😂

The problem with linked notes with me is that my hands can't decide which should be x and which should be y (using as variables, not the buttons). So i often end up just doing an F double note. Also I can't sync my hands to hit at the same time if they are hitting different buttons so that's a problem
this is an old video but yeah youre so right with how uncomfortable the joycons are on faster songs or just in general... the pro controller is more comfortable but with the way the dpad is all connected you could press the correct note and still get a wrong its so annoying

I got this game around the time of release but could only play it for about 4 days per month under some issues but I got jitterbug with 59.99% on hard mode and it was so frustrating ;-;
Only played handheld miku games (vita,3ds). Ive got mixed feelings with the demo, it really feels weird with hold button mechanic and 2-4 button combo ( havent played future tone). Demo is only up to hard maybe thats why im kinda thrown off with the timing. Wish we have an optional project diva f type chart. Its fine in handheld for me.
jitter bug is the only standard i have and I got like 79.90% on it and even though it was so close to a great i have not gone back to it because everytime i start it i get annoyed

I've heard you can change the region on your main account anytime. I just made a seperate account and selected japan. you can still play the game on your main account as long as the japanese account is the primary on your switch

I have no idea how you manage to play this with an asymmetric, cramp inducing miniature crap controller like the joycons. I hate those things so fucking much. Even more so for the Mix Mode. Also, anyone who says Jitterbug has a good chart is just plain wrong. That song isn't fit for rhythm games, and the chart is garbage.

Map the triggers to all 4 buttons. Look up hisokeee's Future Tone controller turorial for details, it helped me a lot.

if you’re using joycons you have to set your ZR and ZL macros to the quads and hold the triggers down right after you press a hold note

Not too much, my adapter adds a tiny bit more but you can overcome it as I've gotten all cools on 9 stars with it
