Lionel Messi won the men's Ballon d'Or for a record seventh time as his former teammate Pedri won the Kopa Trophy. There was further success for Barcelona as Alexia Putellas claimed the women's title. La Liga TV's Semra Hunter shares her thoughts on the winners.

In terms of personal performance then Messi is doing everything that is needed for an attacking player (except pressing). His goal and assist numbers are amazing (and he is not even in his peaks anymore). Also barcelona team is abysmal to say the least..for the past 2-3 years
