And make me think of the time I was lost at an amusement park when I was 5 and they announced messages to get my attention or get someone else to find me over the speakers, but despite always hearing those messages, I never heard a single one that helped. The only solution the park had to look for me before I got kidnapped, was to use those meme speakers. I hate knowing that I survived that day purely because I didn't look worth it to take. I wondered for like an hour while these messages blared constantly. I could tell they were more frequent, but learning why was such a shock when I was finally found. It's really damn upsetting remembering the sheer lack of effort. That my life and wellbeing was in the hands of a joke-quality device. I have trauma over the silliest thing...
